The 12th edition of the European Development Days (EDD 2018) will take place in Brussels on 5 – 6 June 2018, at Tour & Taxis on Avenue du Port 86, B-1000 Brussels.

Under the European Development Days’ overarching theme of ‘Women and Girls at the Forefront of Sustainable Development: protect, empower, invest’, a high-level auditorium debate under the sub-theme of Gender Based Violence will take place on ‘Eliminating Gender-based Violence in and around Schools and other Educational Settings. The panelists will share experiences of supporting teachers, school leaders, students and communities to take action against SRGBV. FAWE will be represented by Hendrina Chalwe Doroba.

The FAWE Executive Director will on the second day of the conference participate in the LAB-DEBATE that will focus on ‘How to best involve women in foreign aid operations so as to enhance their capacity to alleviate poverty in Africa’. This event is hosted by IDAY-International, an international network of national and regional coalitions, each bringing together local civil society organizations active in the field of education. Good day, I love the objectives of this organization and will like to be a part of you. I want to apply for the commonwealth scholarship, which requires a nominating agency of which you are. I would like to know the criteria for eligibility.
    Thank you.
