FAWE Sierra Leone kicked off the 2025/2026 academic year with its first staff meeting held at the FAWE School, Fort Street. The session brought together the National Chair, National Coordinator, Education Manager, school heads, and teachers to collectively set the tone for the year ahead.
The meeting served as a vital platform to align the entire school community around shared goals and expectations. It reinforced FAWE’s commitment to fostering collaboration, accountability, and excellence in girls’ education. Participants engaged in constructive discussions on the outcomes and lessons from the 2024/2025 academic year, reviewed school performance reports, and identified key priorities for improvement.
A central focus was on strengthening professional development, addressing classroom challenges, and preparing effectively for the upcoming National Primary School Examination (NPSE). The team emphasized a collective approach to ensuring high academic standards, learner support, and teacher motivation across all FAWE schools.
Looking ahead, the leadership announced plans to conduct follow-up visits to all FAWE schools before the close of the academic year to engage directly with teachers and school heads, reinforcing the network’s commitment to continuous improvement and educational impact.
