Addis Ababa, September 29, 2025 – In a significant step toward empowering young voices in health and development, FAWE Ethiopia hosted the official signing ceremony of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the National Adolescent and Youth Health Council and Break Free youth advocates.
This strategic partnership underscores a shared commitment to advancing adolescent and youth health in Ethiopia through collaborative action, inclusive leadership, and participatory engagement. By creating structured avenues for youth to actively engage in policy dialogue, the collaboration seeks to amplify young voices, strengthen advocacy initiatives, and ensure their perspectives influence decisions affecting their well-being.
During the event, stakeholders highlighted the vital role of youth empowerment as a catalyst for sustainable development and gender equality. The MoU reflects FAWE Ethiopia’s ongoing dedication to nurturing leadership among young people while promoting FAWE’s broader mission of inclusive education and gender-responsive programming across Africa.
This milestone celebrates the transformative potential of partnerships, demonstrating that when youth are equipped, supported, and engaged, they can drive meaningful change toward a healthier, more equitable future for all.
