The Sub General Assembly convening is aimed at consolidating key achievements, lessons learned, challenges and emerging education issues that will strengthen the network agenda of ensuring gender equality and equity is realized in the different countries in which FAWE has presence. In this regard, the National Chapters

representatives will participate in the Sub General Assembly to discuss their alignment to the new Strategic Plan 2019-2023 building on the experiences, achievements and lessons learnt from the previous Strategic Plan 2013-2017.

In addition, the sub GA discussions are expected to shed light on the capacity needs of the FAWE Chapters and forge practical and sustainable solutions to address these needs. The representatives present at the sub GA will then consolidate their inputs and select at least two representatives per region (Anglophone and Francophone) to present the meeting outputs/recommendations at the General Assembly for endorsement.
