FAWE is pushing for a paradigm shift from access to quality and inclusion in education to ensure that girls and women develop enabling skills and competencies to drive the development agenda.
FAWE will therefore be launching her 2019-2023 Strategic Plan in Dakar, Senegal on Monday 29th July 2019.
The event will be hosted by H. E. Macky SALL, President of the Republic of Senegal.

FAWE will be conducting Capacity Building for Gender Responsive Pedagogy and Life Skills Mentorship training for Right to Play with the goal of mainstreaming GRP principles

FAWE will be conducting Capacity Building for Gender Responsive Pedagogy and Life Skills Mentorship training for Right to Play with the goal of mainstreaming GRP principles in Right to Play programming across the countries of implementation.
The expected results of the training are that:
- Trainees would internalize and apply gender responsive teaching practices that respond effectively to the needs of learners, both girls and boys
- Right to Play would have a pool of ToTs effectively equipped on GRP
- Quality assurance of information cascaded by Right to Play ToTs maintained through FAWE follow-up support
The series of trainings are planned to take place in Maputo, Kigali and Accra on diverse dates.
