The UNESCO Regional Office for Eastern Africa in partnership with the Forum for African Women Educationalists (FAWE- Africa) and Microsoft Kenya and other key partners in gender equality and women empowerment in Science Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) have come together to celebrate the International day of Women and Girls in science under the theme “Equality and Parity in science for peace and development”.

UNESCO took the best decision for women empowerment. educating women is the best thing, a society can do. equality comes through education. there are few countries which don’t provide proper education to girls. UNESCO took the right decision by upgrading these women with science, mathematics and technology.
