Naomi Kamitha serves as a Program Officer at FAWE, collaborating with the Mastercard Foundation on scholarship initiatives. Her responsibilities include coordinating program implementation, preparing reports, and designing interventions aimed at enhancing access to tertiary education and dignified work opportunities for program participants. Naomi also leads FAWE’s initiatives in Gender Responsive Pedagogy, overseeing training, digitization, and supporting advocacy efforts across Africa. She holds a dual degree in International Relations (Political Economics) and Women and Gender Studies from Michigan State University (USA). Previously, Naomi worked in research at the Center for Gender in Global Studies and served as a Graduate Associate at the Mastercard Foundation Kenya Office. As an alumna of the Mastercard Foundation Scholars Program, Naomi is dedicated to empowering young people, especially young women, through education and access to economic opportunities.
