Cynthia Nasambu Barasa is a Development Studies graduate from Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology (JKUAT). She also holds executive certificates in Policy Development and Advocacy and Project Management from the University of Washington. Cynthia has 5 years experience in project management in Humanitarian and International development domain. She is experienced in policy research, consortia and network management and coordination. Cynthia has worked in different project fields including Health, Environment, Education, Economic Empowerment and Development Effectiveness Agenda both nationally and regionally with organizations like Girl Child Network, Reality of Aid Africa Network, Evidence Action, World Vision, Children of God Relief Institute, National Environment Management Authority (NEMA), Ahadi Kenya Trust and JKUAT.  Cynthia is passionate about human rights especially the rights of children (girls and those living with disabilities), women and young people. She loves volunteering and travelling for purposes of community development.
