FAWE’S CAPACITY BUILDING WORKSHOP FOR INCREASED ENGAGEMENT IN EDUCATION SECTOR PLAN REVIEWS AND GPE PROCESSES

FAWE Regional Secretariat FAWERS, in partnership with GIZ organised a three day workshop for 70 FAWE National coordinators and Alumni representatives from across the 33 FAWE countries, from  4^th to 6^th November (Nairobi, Kenya) for English speaking countries and 11^th to 13^th November (Dakar, Senegal) for French speaking countries,

The workshop is aimed at enhancing FAWE National Chapters capacity at Country levels to ensure the integration of gender issues, to effectively articulate and push the gender agenda in the Education Sector Plan (ESP) review, implementation tracking and evaluation.

The workshops were a success and the participants committed themselves to effectively engage and contribute to the achievement of the gender equality in the Africa’s Education Agenda 2025 at country level and within the context of the newly adopted Sustainable Development Goals.
