In a bid to tackle Covid-19, FAWE Togo led efforts to sensitize teachers, students and community members against the pandemic. The facilitators, supported by Community Health Workers (CHWs) carried out the sensitization program in the communities of Est-Mono and Moyen-Mono. The trainings centered on how to prevent yourself from contracting COVID-19. In total, 2,160 people including 1,060 women were trained. In addition, about 107 home-made hand washing stations were installed in households with the help of CHWs.

20 secondary schools in Est-Mono and Moyen-Mono were also equipped with materials to help protect against Covid-19 such as 500 protective masks, 200 bottles of liquid soap and 94 hand washing devices.
