FAWE joined other eight former Henry R Kravis Prize recipients at a two-day retreat to celebrate the accomplishments of the the tenth Kravis recipient Helen Keller International for their best practice in preventing blindness and reducing malnutrition. Ms Hendrina Doroba, the Executive Director of FAWE, represented FAWE at this colorful event, which took place at Claremont McKenna College on 12th & 13th March 2014.

The Kravis Prize identifies extraordinary leaders in the nonprofit sector, celebrates their accomplishment and shares their best practices with others. FAWE was honored in 2008 for the successes and progress achieved for girl’s education across Africa.
