Crispus Malenya Natala is a Child Protection and Safeguarding professional who has specialized in safeguarding of children and vulnerable adults. He has further specialization in the programming areas of Case Management, Disability inclusion and mainstreaming, Care reform, and Family strengthening interventions. He has over 15 years of work experience in Child Protection and Safeguarding, five of these years dedicated to a trained role as a Safeguarding Designated Lead and trainer of trainers (TOT). He joins FAWE Africa from Catholic Relief Services, where he worked for over seven years, and most recently served as a Case Management Technical Advisor. Crispus has also previously worked with the Child Welfare Society of Kenya, and UNBOUND in different capacities, notably to protect and safeguard the interests of children and vulnerable adults. His role at FAWE will include leading the development and implementation of safeguarding policies and practices across the organization. He holds a Master of Arts in Project Planning and Management from The University of Nairobi, while also holding a Bachelor of Arts Degree (Social Work) from the same institution of higher learning.
