Racheal Ouko brings to FAWE over seven (7) years professional experience with various International Non-Governmental Organizations in the area of governance and human rights. Prior to joining FAWE, Ms Ouko worked for the African Women’s Development and Communication Network (FEMNET) as the Bilingual Membership Liaison officer. She also worked with Kenya Network of Women Governors (KENWOG) as a Coordinator; Pan African Lawyers Union (PALU) as a bilingual Event Planner ; African Development Bank as a Bilingual HR consultant; Duke of Edinburgh International Award as a Consultant; and Equality Now as a Program Associate. Rachelle is a bilingual, script writer and an expert in drama and theatre with experience as a national adjudicator at the Kenya National Drama and Film Festivals and using Theatre and Arts skills as a tool for advocacy for Education for girls and women of Africa. She has a Bachelor of Education Arts French/ Swahili Degree from Maseno University and a Post Graduate Diploma -Professionalization en FLE from Centre National d’ Enseignement a Distance (CNED). Ms. Ouko is currently pursuing her MA Diplomacy, Development and International Security at Daystar University. She is an alumni of MASHAV Political empowerment of Women – Golda Meir Mt Carmel International Center-Israel .
