Fraciah Kagu is the Advocacy and Partnerships Officer for the Forum for African Women Educationalists. She holds a master’s degree in project management and project planning from the Catholic University of Eastern Africa (CUEA), a Bachelor of Laws degree from the University of Nairobi and a diploma in law from the Kenya School of Law. She is an Advocate of the High Court of Kenya having been admitted to the bar in 2014 with a wealth of expertise in lobby and advocacy, litigation, coalition building, policy influencing, children’s rights, research, capacity development, community development, and Project Management.   

She also has experience in advocacy at the National, Regional level with the RECs and at the African Union Level.  She is a seasoned trainer and facilitator in various areas related to gender, education, child rights governance, anti-trafficking, capacity building and institutional strengthening.  

Prior to FAWE, she has worked with various capacities in different non-governmental organizations such as The CRADLE the Children Foundation, the Eastern Africa Child Rights Network as a project Officer focusing on strengthening the child rights governance systems in Eastern Africa and counter-trafficking. She was also part of the secretariat of the CSO Forum on the African Charter on the Rights and Welfare of the Child.
