Le 8 mars 2019, lors de la Journ\u00e9e internationale de la femme, l'UNESCO a lanc\u00e9 l'appel \u00e0 candidatures pour le Prix UNESCO 2019 pour l'\u00e9ducation des filles et des femmes.<\/p>\n

Le Prix UNESCO pour l'\u00e9ducation des filles et des femmes r\u00e9compense les pratiques exceptionnelles d'individus, d'institutions, d'autres entit\u00e9s ou d'organisations non gouvernementales en faveur de l'\u00e9ducation des filles et des femmes. Le prix a \u00e9t\u00e9 cr\u00e9\u00e9 par le Conseil ex\u00e9cutif de l'UNESCO lors de sa 197th<\/sup> Il a \u00e9t\u00e9 lanc\u00e9 en 2016 avec le soutien g\u00e9n\u00e9reux du gouvernement de la R\u00e9publique populaire de Chine. Le prix contribue \u00e0 la r\u00e9alisation de deux objectifs de d\u00e9veloppement durable : \u201cAssurer une \u00e9ducation de qualit\u00e9 inclusive et \u00e9quitable et promouvoir les possibilit\u00e9s d'apprentissage tout au long de la vie pour tous\u201d (objectif 4) et \u201cR\u00e9aliser l'\u00e9galit\u00e9 des sexes et l'autonomisation de toutes les femmes et les filles\u201d (objectif 5).<\/p>\n

Financ\u00e9 par le gouvernement de la R\u00e9publique populaire de Chine, le prix r\u00e9compense chaque ann\u00e9e US$ 50 000<\/strong> \u00e0 deux laur\u00e9ats exceptionnels pour les aider \u00e0 poursuivre leurs travaux.<\/p>\n

Les candidats int\u00e9ress\u00e9s qui satisfont aux exigences de l crit\u00e8res de s\u00e9lection<\/a> sont invit\u00e9s \u00e0 prendre contact avec leur Commissions nationales pour l'UNESCO<\/a> ou ONG en partenariat officiel<\/a> avec l'UNESCO pour y participer. Les processus de nomination<\/a> s'effectue par l'interm\u00e9diaire d'un plateforme en ligne<\/a>, Il est accessible aux Etats membres de l'UNESCO et aux ONG en partenariat officiel avec l'UNESCO. Il peut \u00e9galement \u00eatre ouvert aux candidats \u00e0 la demande de l'un de ces organismes.<\/p>\n
