En septembre 2026, une exp\u00e9rience transformatrice s\u2019est d\u00e9roul\u00e9e pour de jeunes femmes au B\u00e9nin. Au cours de leur stage en entreprise, les participantes au projet #projet3M ont d\u00e9couvert le m\u00e9tier de soudeuse et se sont exerc\u00e9es aux c\u00f4t\u00e9s de professionnels. Cette exp\u00e9rience leur a permis d\u2019acqu\u00e9rir de nouvelles comp\u00e9tences, de renforcer leur confiance en elles et d\u2019envisager sereinement leur avenir dans des m\u00e9tiers non traditionnels. Cela a clairement d\u00e9montr\u00e9 que la soudure \u00e9tait un m\u00e9tier qui s'adressait \u00e9galement aux filles et aux femmes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Cette immersion a repr\u00e9sent\u00e9 bien plus qu\u2019un simple exercice de formation technique. Elle a permis \u00e0 ces jeunes femmes de s'aventurer dans des domaines historiquement r\u00e9serv\u00e9s aux hommes, de mettre leurs capacit\u00e9s \u00e0 l'\u00e9preuve face \u00e0 des d\u00e9fis concrets et de d\u00e9couvrir en elles un potentiel insoup\u00e7onn\u00e9. En travaillant aux c\u00f4t\u00e9s de professionnels chevronn\u00e9s, elles ont non seulement acquis les techniques du m\u00e9tier, mais aussi la confiance en soi que procure la ma\u00eetrise d'un domaine nouveau et exigeant.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Les apprenants ont acquis de nouvelles comp\u00e9tences qui leur seront tr\u00e8s utiles dans leur future carri\u00e8re. Ils ont renforc\u00e9 leur confiance en eux, en d\u00e9couvrant qu\u2019ils \u00e9taient capables de r\u00e9ussir dans des environnements que beaucoup consid\u00e9raient comme hors de leur port\u00e9e. Et ils ont commenc\u00e9 \u00e0 envisager leur avenir avec une assurance sereine, sachant qu\u2019ils poss\u00e9daient les capacit\u00e9s et la d\u00e9termination n\u00e9cessaires pour embrasser une carri\u00e8re dans des m\u00e9tiers non traditionnels.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Le projet #projet3M a \u00e9t\u00e9 mis en \u0153uvre par D\u00e9veloppement international \u2013 \u00c9ducation internationale, en collaboration avec ses partenaires nationaux FAWE B\u00e9nin et Renej-B\u00e9nin, et avec le soutien financier de D\u00e9veloppement international du Canada \u2013 Affaires mondiales Canada et de l\u2019ambassade du Canada au Burkina Faso et au B\u00e9nin. Cette initiative collaborative refl\u00e9tait un engagement commun \u00e0 offrir aux jeunes femmes la possibilit\u00e9 d'acqu\u00e9rir des comp\u00e9tences et de mener une carri\u00e8re dans des domaines o\u00f9 elles ont toujours \u00e9t\u00e9 sous-repr\u00e9sent\u00e9es.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Cette exp\u00e9rience d'immersion s'inscrivait dans le cadre d'une strat\u00e9gie plus large visant \u00e0 promouvoir l'\u00e9galit\u00e9 entre les sexes dans l'enseignement et la formation techniques et professionnels. En initiant les jeunes femmes \u00e0 des m\u00e9tiers non traditionnels tels que la soudure, le projet a remis en cause les st\u00e9r\u00e9otypes, \u00e9largi leurs horizons et ouvert la voie \u00e0 leur autonomisation \u00e9conomique. Il a reconnu que lorsque les filles et les femmes se voyaient offrir la possibilit\u00e9 d\u2019explorer diverses options de carri\u00e8re, elles pouvaient s\u2019\u00e9panouir dans n\u2019importe quel domaine de leur choix.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Cette exp\u00e9rience a \u00e9galement d\u00e9montr\u00e9 l\u2019importance des partenariats pour faire progresser l\u2019\u00e9galit\u00e9 entre les femmes et les hommes. En r\u00e9unissant des organisations internationales, des partenaires nationaux et le secteur priv\u00e9, le projet #projet3M a mis en place un syst\u00e8me de soutien complet destin\u00e9 aux jeunes femmes souhaitant se lancer dans des m\u00e9tiers non traditionnels. Cette approche collaborative a permis aux apprenantes de b\u00e9n\u00e9ficier non seulement d\u2019une formation technique, mais aussi d\u2019un accompagnement, de conseils et des encouragements dont elles avaient besoin pour r\u00e9ussir.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u00c0 l'issue de cette immersion, les participantes en sont ressorties dot\u00e9es de nouvelles comp\u00e9tences, d'une confiance renouvel\u00e9e et d'une vision plus claire de leur avenir. Elles ont bris\u00e9 les barri\u00e8res, remis en question les id\u00e9es re\u00e7ues et prouv\u00e9 que le m\u00e9tier de soudeuse \u00e9tait bel et bien une profession accessible aux filles et aux femmes. Leur parcours a \u00e9t\u00e9 une source d'inspiration pour d'autres et a rappel\u00e9 que lorsque les jeunes femmes se voient offrir la possibilit\u00e9 d'explorer leur potentiel, elles sont capables de r\u00e9aliser des choses remarquables.<\/p>\n\n
