Organis\u00e9e conjointement par le Forum des femmes africaines sp\u00e9cialistes de l\u2019\u00e9ducation (FAWE) Afrique et l\u2019Initiative des Nations Unies pour l\u2019\u00e9ducation des filles (UNGEI), la session intitul\u00e9e *\u2019 Comment les approches transformatrices en mati\u00e8re de genre peuvent-elles favoriser l\u2019apprentissage et l\u2019\u00e9galit\u00e9 pour tous les apprenants : Construire un cadre pour l\u2019inclusion, la responsabilit\u00e9 et l\u2019impact \u201d,* a adress\u00e9 un message fort aux acteurs de l\u2019\u00e9ducation de la r\u00e9gion : l\u2019inclusion doit aller au-del\u00e0 du simple acc\u00e8s ; elle doit garantir que chaque apprenant soit pris en compte, soutenu et en mesure de s\u2019\u00e9panouir.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Ce dialogue de haut niveau s'est inscrit dans le cadre plus large de la conf\u00e9rence, une plateforme strat\u00e9gique visant \u00e0 faire passer l'\u00e9ducation au sein de la Communaut\u00e9 de l'Afrique de l'Est (CAE) du stade des engagements \u00e0 celui d'un impact mesurable et durable. Alors que les syst\u00e8mes \u00e9ducatifs de toute l'Afrique de l'Est sont confront\u00e9s \u00e0 des in\u00e9galit\u00e9s persistantes en mati\u00e8re d'acc\u00e8s et de qualit\u00e9, la conf\u00e9rence a constitu\u00e9 un cadre essentiel pour cette discussion sur la mani\u00e8re de mettre en place des syst\u00e8mes v\u00e9ritablement inclusifs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Cette session a permis de r\u00e9affirmer une id\u00e9e fondamentale : les approches visant \u00e0 transformer les relations entre les genres ne se limitent pas \u00e0 la scolarisation des filles, mais consistent \u00e0 remodeler en profondeur l\u2019environnement d\u2019apprentissage afin qu\u2019il soit \u00e9quitable pour tous. La discussion est all\u00e9e au-del\u00e0 de la th\u00e9orie pour mettre en lumi\u00e8re les r\u00e9alit\u00e9s v\u00e9cues par les apprenants les plus souvent laiss\u00e9s pour compte : les enfants en situation de handicap, les r\u00e9fugi\u00e9s et les minorit\u00e9s ethniques. Ces groupes, ont soulign\u00e9 les participants, sont fr\u00e9quemment confront\u00e9s \u00e0 la stigmatisation, \u00e0 la discrimination et \u00e0 un manque criant de visibilit\u00e9 au sein des syst\u00e8mes \u00e9ducatifs nationaux et des donn\u00e9es.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">S'appuyant sur les derni\u00e8res r\u00e9flexions en mati\u00e8re d'\u00e9ducation sensible au genre, la discussion a soulign\u00e9 que, pour que l'\u00e9ducation soit v\u00e9ritablement inclusive, elle doit reconna\u00eetre et s'efforcer activement de d\u00e9manteler les rapports de force et les normes n\u00e9fastes qui ont cr\u00e9\u00e9 et perp\u00e9tu\u00e9 les in\u00e9galit\u00e9s. Pour cela, il fallait d\u00e9passer une approche \u201c universelle \u201d au profit d\u2019une approche s\u2019attaquant activement aux obstacles sp\u00e9cifiques rencontr\u00e9s par les diff\u00e9rents groupes d\u2019apprenants.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Afin de mettre en place un cadre solide favorisant l'inclusion, la responsabilit\u00e9 et l'impact, la session a permis d'identifier plusieurs priorit\u00e9s cl\u00e9s qui guideront la future collaboration entre FAWE Africa et l'UNGEI :<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">1. Identifier et venir en aide aux plus d\u00e9favoris\u00e9s : La premi\u00e8re \u00e9tape, et la plus cruciale, a consist\u00e9 \u00e0 identifier de mani\u00e8re syst\u00e9matique les apprenants laiss\u00e9s pour compte. Pour cela, il a fallu aller au-del\u00e0 des donn\u00e9es agr\u00e9g\u00e9es afin de comprendre les difficult\u00e9s sp\u00e9cifiques rencontr\u00e9es par les groupes marginalis\u00e9s.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">2. Renforcement des capacit\u00e9s des enseignants : La discussion a mis en \u00e9vidence le r\u00f4le essentiel des enseignants dans la cr\u00e9ation de classes inclusives. Cela impliquait de d\u00e9velopper \u00e0 plus grande \u00e9chelle des initiatives telles que la \u00ab p\u00e9dagogie sensible au genre \u00bb (GRP) du FAWE, qui a permis de doter les \u00e9ducateurs des comp\u00e9tences n\u00e9cessaires pour favoriser des environnements d\u2019apprentissage dans lesquels tous les \u00e9l\u00e8ves, ind\u00e9pendamment de leur genre, de leurs capacit\u00e9s ou de leur milieu social, puissent r\u00e9ussir.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">3. Impliquer les parents et les communaut\u00e9s : comme l\u2019ont d\u00e9montr\u00e9 les mod\u00e8les propres au FAWE, tels que les \u201c clubs de m\u00e8res \u2019, un changement durable n\u00e9cessite l\u2019engagement actif et le soutien des parents et de la communaut\u00e9 au sens large pour remettre en cause les normes n\u00e9gatives et soutenir l\u2019\u00e9ducation des filles.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">4. Renforcement des politiques et des m\u00e9canismes de responsabilisation : La session a appel\u00e9 \u00e0 la mise en place de politiques plus solides et plus responsables, allant au-del\u00e0 de la simple rh\u00e9torique. Cela impliquait notamment l\u2019\u00e9laboration et la mise en \u0153uvre de mesures de protection efficaces pour pr\u00e9server les enfants contre les abus et l\u2019exploitation, un principe fondamental du partenariat entre le FAWE et des organisations telles que l\u2019ANPPCAN.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">5. Utilisation de donn\u00e9es d\u00e9sagr\u00e9g\u00e9es : un large consensus s'est d\u00e9gag\u00e9 sur la n\u00e9cessit\u00e9 d'utiliser des donn\u00e9es d\u00e9sagr\u00e9g\u00e9es pour \u00e9clairer l'\u00e9laboration des budgets et suivre les b\u00e9n\u00e9ficiaires des interventions. Sans ces donn\u00e9es d\u00e9taill\u00e9es, il \u00e9tait impossible de savoir si les interventions avaient r\u00e9ellement un impact sur les apprenants les plus vuln\u00e9rables.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Un partenariat au service de la transformation La session organis\u00e9e dans le cadre de la 2e Conf\u00e9rence sur l'\u00e9ducation en Afrique de l'Est a t\u00e9moign\u00e9 du partenariat solide et durable entre FAWE Africa et l'UNGEI.
