Au total, 482 jeunes, qui n\u2019avaient auparavant pas pu acc\u00e9der \u00e0 l\u2019enseignement sup\u00e9rieur car ils n\u2019avaient pas tout \u00e0 fait atteint les notes d\u2019admission requises, ont c\u00e9l\u00e9br\u00e9 la r\u00e9ussite de leur programme de transition et leur passage \u00e0 des \u00e9tudes universitaires.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Le programme HEAC (Higher Education Access Certificate) constitue une v\u00e9ritable bou\u00e9e de sauvetage pour les \u00e9tudiants qui ne remplissent pas les conditions d\u2019admission directe dans les universit\u00e9s ougandaises. Comme l\u2019a expliqu\u00e9 Susan Opok Tumusiime, directrice ex\u00e9cutive de FAWE Ouganda : \u201c Nous voyons des jeunes brillants qui ne peuvent pas acc\u00e9der \u00e0 l\u2019enseignement sup\u00e9rieur parce qu\u2019ils n\u2019ont pas atteint, de justesse, les notes d\u2019admission requises. Le HEAC a pour vocation de combler cette lacune. \u201d Cette ann\u00e9e, les dipl\u00f4m\u00e9s s\u2019appr\u00eatent \u00e0 suivre divers cursus universitaires, et un nombre important d\u2019entre eux s\u2019orientent vers les domaines des sciences, de la technologie, de l\u2019ing\u00e9nierie et des math\u00e9matiques (STEM) \u2014 une avanc\u00e9e positive pour lutter contre les in\u00e9galit\u00e9s entre les sexes dans ces secteurs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Cet atelier de transition avait pour objectif de pr\u00e9parer ces \u00e9tudiantes aux r\u00e9alit\u00e9s acad\u00e9miques et sociales de la vie universitaire. Il leur a fourni des informations pratiques et un accompagnement afin qu\u2019elles soient bien arm\u00e9es pour r\u00e9ussir dans leur nouvel environnement. La c\u00e9r\u00e9monie de remise des dipl\u00f4mes a r\u00e9uni des familles fi\u00e8res, le personnel de FAWE Ouganda et des responsables cl\u00e9s du secteur de l\u2019\u00e9ducation, tous venus saluer l\u2019engagement des \u00e9tudiantes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Tonny Acwera, inspecteur scolaire du district de Lira, qui \u00e9tait l\u2019invit\u00e9 d\u2019honneur, a salu\u00e9 l\u2019engagement de FAWE Ouganda \u00e0 transformer des vies. \u201c Le programme HEAC transforme des vies en offrant \u00e0 des \u00e9tudiantes m\u00e9ritantes une nouvelle chance de r\u00e9aliser leurs ambitions acad\u00e9miques et de contribuer \u00e0 la vie de leur communaut\u00e9 \u201d, a-t-il d\u00e9clar\u00e9, soulignant l\u2019effet d\u2019entra\u00eenement que ces dipl\u00f4m\u00e9es auront sur leurs familles et les \u00e9conomies locales.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">La r\u00e9ussite de cette promotion met en \u00e9vidence l\u2019impact croissant du programme HEAC, financ\u00e9 par la Fondation Mastercard. En offrant un parcours certifi\u00e9 vers l\u2019enseignement sup\u00e9rieur, FAWE Ouganda ne se contente pas de changer l\u2019avenir de chacune de ces femmes, mais contribue \u00e9galement au d\u00e9veloppement d\u2019une main-d\u2019\u0153uvre qualifi\u00e9e en Ouganda.
