Sur 9 juin<\/strong>, le FAWE a montr\u00e9 comment des programmes fond\u00e9s sur des donn\u00e9es probantes peuvent se traduire par un impact \u00e0 grande \u00e9chelle, lors d\u2019une table ronde de haut niveau consacr\u00e9e au renforcement des syst\u00e8mes, des politiques et des pratiques \u00e9ducatives. Cette session a r\u00e9uni des dirigeants influents issus de l\u2019ensemble du secteur du d\u00e9veloppement afin d\u2019examiner comment la recherche, l\u2019innovation et les partenariats peuvent favoriser un changement durable en faveur des filles et des jeunes femmes \u00e0 travers l\u2019Afrique.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Au nom de FAWE Afrique, Mme Teresa Carlo Omondi-Adeitan<\/strong>, directrice ex\u00e9cutive adjointe et responsable des programmes, a particip\u00e9 \u00e0 une table ronde prestigieuse aux c\u00f4t\u00e9s de Paroma Afsara Husain<\/strong>, directrice du programme \u00ab Accelerating Impact for Young Women \u00bb (AIM) chez BRAC International ; Makena Mworia<\/strong>, responsable du programme \u00ab Entrepreneuriat et \u00e9galit\u00e9 des sexes \u00bb et de l\u2019\u00ab Inclusion financi\u00e8re \u00bb \u00e0 la Fondation Mastercard ; et Joweria Nakityo Jamira<\/strong>, mentor et d\u00e9fenseur de la jeunesse originaire d'Ouganda. Repr\u00e9sentait \u00e9galement le FAWE : Mme Anastashia Irungu<\/strong>, r\u00e9affirmant ainsi l'engagement ferme de l'organisation en faveur de l'apprentissage collaboratif et de la d\u00e9fense des int\u00e9r\u00eats au niveau r\u00e9gional.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Au cours de la discussion, Mme Omondi-Adeitan a mis en avant les approches innovantes du FAWE mises en \u0153uvre par le biais du Imarisha Msichana<\/strong> initiative et la Parcours de deuxi\u00e8me chance vers l'enseignement sup\u00e9rieur<\/strong> programme. Elle a expliqu\u00e9 comment ces interventions avaient permis de traduire avec succ\u00e8s les donn\u00e9es scientifiques en solutions concr\u00e8tes, \u00e9largissant ainsi les perspectives \u00e9ducatives des jeunes femmes et des jeunes hommes issus de milieux d\u00e9favoris\u00e9s, tout en influen\u00e7ant les pratiques institutionnelles et en renfor\u00e7ant les syst\u00e8mes gouvernementaux.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

S'interrogeant sur le r\u00f4le essentiel des institutions publiques, Mme Omondi-Adeitan a soulign\u00e9 que la mise en \u0153uvre efficace des politiques ne d\u00e9pendait pas uniquement des investissements financiers. Elle a fait remarquer que les gouvernements obtenaient de meilleurs r\u00e9sultats lorsqu\u2019ils affectaient du personnel qualifi\u00e9, renfor\u00e7aient les capacit\u00e9s institutionnelles, offraient des environnements d\u2019apprentissage de qualit\u00e9 et pr\u00eataient une oreille attentive aux jeunes. Son message a r\u00e9affirm\u00e9 la conviction de longue date du FAWE selon laquelle un changement durable n\u00e9cessite \u00e0 la fois un engagement politique et une mise en \u0153uvre centr\u00e9e sur les personnes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Cette session a \u00e9galement constitu\u00e9 une plateforme importante permettant aux jeunes de partager leurs exp\u00e9riences v\u00e9cues et leurs aspirations. Les participants ont soulign\u00e9 l\u2019importance de dialogues francs qui tiennent compte de leurs r\u00e9alit\u00e9s sans minimiser les difficult\u00e9s auxquelles ils sont confront\u00e9s. Leurs contributions ont mis en \u00e9vidence l\u2019int\u00e9r\u00eat d\u2019associer les jeunes en tant que partenaires \u00e0 part enti\u00e8re \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9laboration des programmes et des politiques qui ont une incidence directe sur leur avenir.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ce dialogue a r\u00e9affirm\u00e9 l\u2019engagement du FAWE \u00e0 placer les jeunes au c\u0153ur de son action, tout en pr\u00e9servant leur dignit\u00e9, en respectant leurs choix et en leur donnant davantage la parole. En mettant en avant des innovations concr\u00e8tes et fond\u00e9es sur des donn\u00e9es factuelles, et en favorisant des partenariats constructifs avec les gouvernements et les acteurs du d\u00e9veloppement, le FAWE a continu\u00e9 \u00e0 d\u00e9montrer qu\u2019une transformation durable de l\u2019\u00e9ducation ne peut \u00eatre r\u00e9alis\u00e9e que lorsque les politiques s\u2019appuient sur des donn\u00e9es factuelles, sont \u00e9labor\u00e9es dans un esprit de collaboration et guid\u00e9es par les aspirations de la jeunesse africaine.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
