WINDHOEK, Namibie - Le 6 mai 2026, le Forum for African Women Educationalists Namibia (FAWENA) a eu l'honneur de participer \u00e0 une r\u00e9union de haut niveau avec l'UNICEF \u00e0 la Maison des Nations Unies. Les discussions, men\u00e9es en collaboration avec le Bureau de la premi\u00e8re \u00e9pouse, ont port\u00e9 sur l'orientation strat\u00e9gique et les principaux objectifs de la prochaine campagne de retour \u00e0 l'\u00e9cole des gar\u00e7ons. La r\u00e9union a marqu\u00e9 une \u00e9tape importante dans la lutte contre les disparit\u00e9s en mati\u00e8re d'\u00e9ducation et dans la garantie que chaque gar\u00e7on a la possibilit\u00e9 de retourner \u00e0 l'\u00e9cole, de s'\u00e9panouir sur le plan scolaire et de contribuer de mani\u00e8re significative \u00e0 la soci\u00e9t\u00e9 namibienne.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

La campagne de retour \u00e0 l'\u00e9cole des gar\u00e7ons est con\u00e7ue comme une intervention cibl\u00e9e visant \u00e0 r\u00e9pondre au probl\u00e8me croissant du d\u00e9sengagement des gar\u00e7ons de l'\u00e9ducation, un d\u00e9fi qui a des implications non seulement sur les r\u00e9sultats de la vie individuelle, mais aussi sur la coh\u00e9sion sociale, la productivit\u00e9 \u00e9conomique et la dynamique des genres au sein des communaut\u00e9s. En se concentrant sur les gar\u00e7ons qui ont abandonn\u00e9 l'\u00e9cole ou qui risquent de le faire, la campagne vise \u00e0 r\u00e9tablir des parcours \u00e9ducatifs qui m\u00e8nent \u00e0 des moyens de subsistance dignes, \u00e0 une citoyennet\u00e9 responsable et \u00e0 des contributions positives au d\u00e9veloppement national.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Au cours de la r\u00e9union, les repr\u00e9sentants de FAWENA ont rejoint les fonctionnaires de l'UNICEF et le Bureau du premier conjoint dans une s\u00e9rie de conversations strat\u00e9giques qui ont permis d'identifier les actions prioritaires, les strat\u00e9gies de mobilisation des ressources et les cadres de suivi n\u00e9cessaires au lancement r\u00e9ussi et \u00e0 la mise en \u0153uvre durable de la campagne. Les discussions ont \u00e9galement port\u00e9 sur la mani\u00e8re dont l'expertise de longue date de FAWENA dans le domaine de l'\u00e9ducation sensible au genre pourrait contribuer \u00e0 une approche \u00e9quilibr\u00e9e qui ferait progresser simultan\u00e9ment les r\u00e9sultats scolaires des filles et des gar\u00e7ons sans compromettre les progr\u00e8s r\u00e9alis\u00e9s en mati\u00e8re de scolarisation et de maintien des filles \u00e0 l'\u00e9cole.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

L'esprit de collaboration de la r\u00e9union a r\u00e9affirm\u00e9 l'engagement commun de toutes les parties prenantes en faveur de l'\u00e9ducation inclusive et du d\u00e9veloppement durable. En renfor\u00e7ant les partenariats et en harmonisant les efforts, FAWENA, l'UNICEF et le Bureau du premier conjoint ont fait part de leur d\u00e9termination commune \u00e0 ne laisser aucun enfant de c\u00f4t\u00e9, quel que soit son sexe, dans la qu\u00eate d'une \u00e9ducation de qualit\u00e9 pour tous les Namibiens. Comme l'a fait remarquer un participant, l'avenir de la nation d\u00e9pend des mesures prises aujourd'hui.
