LUSAKA, Zambie - Le 21 mai, avec l'appui de la Fondation Mastercard, le FAWE Zambie (FAWEZA) a organis\u00e9 le Programme d'orientation \u00e9largi (EOP) pour les participants au Certificat g\u00e9n\u00e9ral d'\u00e9ducation (GCE) dans trois \u00e9tablissements d'enseignement sup\u00e9rieur : l'Universit\u00e9 de Zambie (UNZA), l'Universit\u00e9 APEX et l'Universit\u00e9 EDEN. Le programme a \u00e9t\u00e9 con\u00e7u pour doter les apprenants des connaissances pratiques et des comp\u00e9tences de vie n\u00e9cessaires pour r\u00e9ussir la transition vers l'enseignement sup\u00e9rieur et pour naviguer dans la vie universitaire avec confiance et r\u00e9silience.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Le programme d'orientation \u00e9largi a couvert un large \u00e9ventail de sujets essentiels visant \u00e0 pr\u00e9parer les \u00e9tudiants \u00e0 la fois \u00e0 la r\u00e9ussite universitaire et au bien-\u00eatre personnel. Les principales sessions ont port\u00e9 sur la vie universitaire, la protection, le code de conduite, la culture financi\u00e8re, l'esprit d'entreprise, la planification de carri\u00e8re, la gestion du changement et la sensibilisation \u00e0 la sant\u00e9 mentale. Chaque module a \u00e9t\u00e9 soigneusement con\u00e7u pour aider les apprenants \u00e0 renforcer leur r\u00e9silience, \u00e0 s'adapter \u00e0 des environnements nouveaux et exigeants, \u00e0 g\u00e9rer le stress scolaire et social et \u00e0 donner la priorit\u00e9 \u00e0 leur sant\u00e9 mentale et \u00e9motionnelle tout en poursuivant leurs objectifs \u00e9ducatifs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Reconnaissant que la transition de l'enseignement secondaire \u00e0 l'enseignement sup\u00e9rieur peut \u00eatre particuli\u00e8rement difficile pour les jeunes femmes et les filles des communaut\u00e9s d\u00e9favoris\u00e9es, le FAWEZA a mis l'accent sur la cr\u00e9ation d'un environnement d'apprentissage favorable o\u00f9 les participants peuvent poser des questions, partager leurs pr\u00e9occupations et d\u00e9velopper des strat\u00e9gies pratiques pour surmonter les obstacles communs. Les composantes d'\u00e9ducation financi\u00e8re et d'entreprenariat ont permis aux \u00e9tudiants d'acqu\u00e9rir des comp\u00e9tences fondamentales en mati\u00e8re de budg\u00e9tisation, d'\u00e9pargne et de g\u00e9n\u00e9ration de revenus, tandis que les sessions de cartographie des carri\u00e8res les ont aid\u00e9s \u00e0 d\u00e9finir des voies claires entre leurs \u00e9tudes actuelles et un emploi significatif ou une formation plus pouss\u00e9e.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A travers ces engagements, le FAWEZA a continu\u00e9 \u00e0 d\u00e9montrer son engagement in\u00e9branlable \u00e0 soutenir les jeunes femmes et les filles pour qu'elles deviennent des leaders confiants, r\u00e9silients, financi\u00e8rement conscients et pr\u00eats pour l'avenir, capables de contribuer positivement \u00e0 la soci\u00e9t\u00e9 zambienne. Le programme d'orientation \u00e9largi a \u00e9galement servi de plateforme vitale pour renforcer les protocoles de sauvegarde et les codes de conduite institutionnels, en veillant \u00e0 ce que les \u00e9tudiants comprennent leurs droits et leurs responsabilit\u00e9s dans l'environnement universitaire. Les s\u00e9ances de sensibilisation \u00e0 la sant\u00e9 mentale ont permis de normaliser les conversations sur le stress, l'anxi\u00e9t\u00e9 et le bien-\u00eatre, en encourageant les \u00e9tudiants \u00e0 demander de l'aide en cas de besoin et \u00e0 soutenir leurs pairs. Les participants ont quitt\u00e9 le programme d'orientation non seulement avec des comp\u00e9tences pratiques am\u00e9lior\u00e9es, mais aussi avec un sentiment renforc\u00e9 d'appartenance et d'objectif.
