Lorsque le plan strat\u00e9gique 2013-2017 a expir\u00e9 en d\u00e9cembre 2017, le Secr\u00e9tariat r\u00e9gional du FAWE s'est engag\u00e9 dans le processus d'\u00e9laboration d'une nouvelle strat\u00e9gie pour guider les op\u00e9rations de l'organisation au cours des cinq prochaines ann\u00e9es. Le processus a commenc\u00e9 en mars 2018 apr\u00e8s l'approbation du Conseil d'administration du FAWE Afrique avec l'identification d'une \u00e9quipe de consultants pour guider le processus. La s\u00e9lection concurrentielle a vu le Centre for Research & Innovation East Africa (CRI-EA) s\u00e9lectionn\u00e9 pour guider le processus.<\/p>\n

Une \u00e9valuation du pr\u00e9c\u00e9dent Plan strat\u00e9gique 2013-2017 a \u00e9t\u00e9 r\u00e9alis\u00e9e. Le processus d'\u00e9valuation a consolid\u00e9 les principales r\u00e9alisations, les le\u00e7ons apprises, les meilleures pratiques, les d\u00e9fis, les lacunes et les questions strat\u00e9giques et a cherch\u00e9 \u00e0 r\u00e9orienter le FAWE vers sa vision et sa mission dans le contexte de l'agenda r\u00e9gional et mondial actuel en mati\u00e8re d'\u00e9ducation.<\/p>\n

Un atelier de vision a \u00e9t\u00e9 organis\u00e9 en ao\u00fbt 2018 avec les Antennes nationales, les membres du Conseil d'administration et les principaux partenaires afin d'examiner de mani\u00e8re critique les conclusions de l'\u00e9valuation du PS pr\u00e9c\u00e9dent, de faire des r\u00e9flexions sur les performances pass\u00e9es du FAWE, d'examiner l'agenda mondial actuel en mati\u00e8re d'\u00e9ducation et de d\u00e9finir des strat\u00e9gies et des approches pour le prochain plan d'action du FAWE au cours des 5 prochaines ann\u00e9es. L'atelier a g\u00e9n\u00e9r\u00e9 un consensus qui a donn\u00e9 lieu \u00e0 une premi\u00e8re \u00e9bauche du nouveau Plan strat\u00e9gique 2019-2023.<\/p>\n

Un atelier de validation organis\u00e9 en octobre 2018 a permis d'examiner conjointement le projet de strat\u00e9gie et de d\u00e9finir des strat\u00e9gies et des approches pour sa mise en \u0153uvre. Les principales parties prenantes et les membres pr\u00e9sents ont fait part de leurs commentaires sur le projet de strat\u00e9gie et ceux-ci ont \u00e9t\u00e9 int\u00e9gr\u00e9s dans la version finale du plan strat\u00e9gique. Selon la strat\u00e9gie, le FAWE sera, au cours des cinq prochaines ann\u00e9es, guid\u00e9 par son objectif d\u2018\u2019 autonomiser les filles et les femmes en Afrique en leur donnant les aptitudes, les valeurs et les comp\u00e9tences dont elles ont besoin pour r\u00e9aliser leur potentiel \u2019. Le FAWE adoptera une approche de d\u00e9veloppement qui att\u00e9nue \u00e0 la fois les causes et les effets de l'\u00e9ducation des filles et des femmes, promeut les droits et le bien-\u00eatre des filles et des femmes et leur donne les moyens d'\u00eatre autonomes.<\/p>\n

Le Plan strat\u00e9gique 2019-2023 du FAWE a \u00e9t\u00e9 approuv\u00e9 lors de la 60\u00e8me r\u00e9union du Conseil d'administration du FAWE Afrique qui s'est tenue en mars 2019 et sera officiellement lanc\u00e9 en juin 2019.<\/p>\n
