Professeur Sarah Anyang Agbor"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong><em>Par le Forum des \u00e9ducatrices africaines (FAWE)<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>L'Afrique se trouve \u00e0 un moment charni\u00e8re de l'enseignement sup\u00e9rieur. Avec plus de 60% de sa population \u00e2g\u00e9e de moins de 25 ans, le continent est le plus jeune du monde. D'ici 2050, un jeune sur trois dans le monde sera africain (UNESCO, 2023). Cette \u201cvague de jeunes\u201d offre un potentiel immense, mais elle pr\u00e9sente aussi des d\u00e9fis : universit\u00e9s sous-financ\u00e9es, acc\u00e8s in\u00e9quitable et programmes d'\u00e9tudes qui ne r\u00e9pondent souvent pas aux besoins du march\u00e9 du travail.<br \/>\n\u00c0 ce carrefour, il est essentiel que les dirigeants fassent preuve de vision et d'int\u00e9grit\u00e9. Peu de personnes l'incarnent mieux que S.E. le professeur Sarah Anyang Agbor, r\u00e9cemment nomm\u00e9e inspectrice des services n\u00b0 2 au minist\u00e8re de l'enseignement sup\u00e9rieur du Cameroun et vice-pr\u00e9sidente du Forum des \u00e9ducatrices africaines (FAWE) Afrique. Son double r\u00f4le la positionne non seulement en tant que gardienne de la responsabilit\u00e9 au niveau national, mais aussi en tant que d\u00e9fenseur continental de l'\u00e9quit\u00e9 entre les sexes et de l'\u00e9ducation inclusive.<\/p>\n<p><em><strong>Un mandat humble, une mission audacieuse<\/strong><\/em><br \/>\nLe professeur Agbor d\u00e9crit sa nomination avec \u201cune profonde humilit\u00e9 et gratitude\u201d, la consid\u00e9rant \u00e0 la fois comme une reconnaissance et une responsabilit\u00e9. En tant qu'inspectrice des services n\u00b0 2, elle est charg\u00e9e de la gouvernance financi\u00e8re, c'est-\u00e0-dire de veiller \u00e0 ce que chaque franc allou\u00e9 \u00e0 l'enseignement sup\u00e9rieur soit g\u00e9r\u00e9 de mani\u00e8re transparente et efficace.<br \/>\n\u201cUne bonne gouvernance financi\u00e8re est le fondement de la confiance et de la durabilit\u00e9 dans l'enseignement sup\u00e9rieur. Pour elle, la bonne gouvernance n'est pas une politique abstraite ; c'est l'\u00e9l\u00e9ment vital des universit\u00e9s qui doivent servir les \u00e9tudiants, les chercheurs et les communaut\u00e9s avec int\u00e9grit\u00e9.<\/p>\n<p><em><strong>De Bamenda \u00e0 l'Union africaine : Une trajectoire panafricaine<\/strong><\/em><br \/>\nSon parcours professionnel l'a pr\u00e9par\u00e9e de mani\u00e8re unique \u00e0 ce moment. Au Cameroun, elle a occup\u00e9 le poste de vice-chancelier adjoint \u00e0 l'universit\u00e9 de Bamenda, o\u00f9 elle a jet\u00e9 des ponts entre le monde universitaire et l'industrie. Au minist\u00e8re de l'enseignement sup\u00e9rieur, elle a perfectionn\u00e9 son expertise en tant qu'inspectrice des affaires acad\u00e9miques.<br \/>\nSon influence s'est ensuite \u00e9tendue \u00e0 l'ensemble du continent en tant que commissaire de l'Union africaine pour l'\u00e9ducation, la science, la technologie et l'innovation (2017-2021). Elle y a d\u00e9fendu l'autonomisation des jeunes, l'adoption du num\u00e9rique et l'investissement dans la recherche dans le cadre de l'Agenda 2063, le plan directeur du d\u00e9veloppement de l'Afrique.<br \/>\nCes r\u00f4les, dit-elle, lui ont donn\u00e9 un \u201cm\u00e9lange unique d'exp\u00e9riences acad\u00e9miques, administratives et de leadership continental\u201d - des outils qu'elle utilise aujourd'hui pour renforcer la gouvernance de l'enseignement sup\u00e9rieur au Cameroun.<\/p>\n<p><em><strong>Relever les d\u00e9fis communs de l'Afrique<\/strong><\/em><br \/>\nLes d\u00e9fis auxquels le Cameroun est confront\u00e9 font \u00e9cho \u00e0 ceux qui se posent dans toute l'Afrique :<br \/>\n- Les contraintes financi\u00e8res et la mauvaise gestion qui r\u00e9duisent l'impact.<br \/>\n- Les lacunes en mati\u00e8re d'\u00e9quit\u00e9 qui excluent les \u00e9tudiants ruraux, marginalis\u00e9s et touch\u00e9s par les conflits.<br \/>\n- Infrastructures et fractures num\u00e9riques mises en \u00e9vidence par la pand\u00e9mie COVID-19.<br \/>\n- L'inad\u00e9quation des programmes d'\u00e9tudes avec l'\u00e9volution rapide des march\u00e9s de l'emploi.<br \/>\nSelon la Banque mondiale (2022), le taux d'inscription dans l'enseignement sup\u00e9rieur en Afrique subsaharienne n'est que de 9%, contre une moyenne mondiale de 38%. Cela souligne \u00e0 la fois l'urgence et l'ampleur de la r\u00e9forme. .<br \/>\nLes priorit\u00e9s imm\u00e9diates du professeur Agbor sont claires : renforcer la responsabilit\u00e9, promouvoir l'assurance qualit\u00e9, d\u00e9fendre l'\u00e9galit\u00e9 des sexes et stimuler l'innovation. Elle s'appuie pour cela sur un proverbe africain : \u201cUn oiseau revient toujours \u00e0 l'arbre o\u00f9 il a \u00e9t\u00e9 bien nourri\u201d. Selon elle, si les \u00e9tablissements sont bien gouvern\u00e9s et dot\u00e9s de ressources suffisantes, les \u00e9tudiants s'\u00e9panouiront au Cameroun plut\u00f4t que de chercher des d\u00e9bouch\u00e9s \u00e0 l'\u00e9tranger.<\/p>\n<p><em><strong>Les femmes au c\u0153ur de la transformation<\/strong><\/em><br \/>\nEn tant que Vice-pr\u00e9sidente du FAWE, le mandat du Professeur Agbor est en parfaite ad\u00e9quation avec le plaidoyer qu'elle a men\u00e9 toute sa vie en faveur de l'\u00e9ducation des filles et des femmes. Elle met l'accent sur le mentorat, les bourses d'\u00e9tudes et les r\u00e9formes tenant compte de l'\u00e9galit\u00e9 des sexes. \u2019Si vous \u00e9duquez un homme, vous \u00e9duquez un individu. Si vous \u00e9duquez une femme, vous \u00e9duquez une nation\u201c, dit-elle en reprenant un autre proverbe africain.<br \/>\nSon r\u00f4le au sein du FAWE compl\u00e8te son mandat gouvernemental : tout en veillant \u00e0 la responsabilisation des syst\u00e8mes d'enseignement sup\u00e9rieur, elle s'efforce de faire en sorte que ces syst\u00e8mes soient inclusifs et ouvrent des portes aux jeunes femmes pour qu'elles puissent diriger. Cette synergie refl\u00e8te une approche panafricaine dans laquelle la gouvernance et le plaidoyer se renforcent mutuellement.<\/p>\n<p><em><strong>Le\u00e7ons de leadership<\/strong><\/em><br \/>\nEn r\u00e9fl\u00e9chissant \u00e0 sa carri\u00e8re, le professeur Agbor a d\u00e9gag\u00e9 trois principes directeurs :<br \/>\n- Collaboration - les r\u00e9formes durables n\u00e9cessitent la mobilisation de diverses parties prenantes.<br \/>\n- Leadership fond\u00e9 sur des donn\u00e9es probantes - les politiques doivent \u00eatre fond\u00e9es sur des donn\u00e9es et des recherches.<br \/>\n- R\u00e9silience - la capacit\u00e9 d'adaptation est essentielle face \u00e0 des d\u00e9fis changeants.<br \/>\nCe sont des le\u00e7ons tir\u00e9es de son mandat \u00e0 l'UA et au FAWE, o\u00f9 elle a appris \u00e0 concilier vision et pragmatisme, et \u00e0 faire du plaidoyer et de l'action.<\/p>\n<p><em><strong>Un appel \u00e0 la jeunesse africaine<\/strong><\/em><br \/>\nEn fin de compte, sa vision va au-del\u00e0 des syst\u00e8mes et s'\u00e9tend aux personnes. Elle voit les universit\u00e9s africaines comme des p\u00f4les d'excellence en mati\u00e8re de recherche, d'entrepreneuriat et de responsabilit\u00e9 sociale. Aux jeunes Africains, elle adresse ce message :<br \/>\n\u201cLe leadership n'est pas une question de position, c'est une question d'objectif. Utilisez l'\u00e9ducation comme base, l'int\u00e9grit\u00e9 comme guide et l'Afrique comme source d'inspiration. La sagesse ne vient pas du jour au lendemain, mais ceux qui pers\u00e9v\u00e8rent en verront les fruits.\u201d<br \/>\nIl s'agit d'un appel non seulement \u00e0 la r\u00e9silience, mais aussi \u00e0 consid\u00e9rer l'\u00e9ducation comme un outil de service - un moyen de fa\u00e7onner les communaut\u00e9s et le continent dans son ensemble.<\/p>\n<p><em><strong>Aligner la gouvernance sur le plaidoyer<\/strong><\/em><br \/>\nLe double r\u00f4le du professeur Sarah Anyang Agbor - en tant qu'inspectrice des services du minist\u00e8re camerounais de l'enseignement sup\u00e9rieur et vice-pr\u00e9sidente du FAWE - la place au carrefour de la gouvernance et du plaidoyer. Elle incarne la conviction que l'enseignement sup\u00e9rieur doit non seulement produire des connaissances, mais aussi faire preuve d'int\u00e9grit\u00e9, d'inclusion et d'innovation.<\/p>\n<p>\u00c0 une \u00e9poque o\u00f9 les syst\u00e8mes d'enseignement sup\u00e9rieur africains sont soumis \u00e0 des pressions pour fournir plus avec moins de ressources, son leadership offre un mod\u00e8le de service orient\u00e9 vers un but pr\u00e9cis.
