La r\u00e9union a rassembl\u00e9 des responsables de l'\u00e9ducation, des d\u00e9cideurs politiques et des experts universitaires afin de r\u00e9fl\u00e9chir \u00e0 des strat\u00e9gies susceptibles de combler les lacunes auxquelles sont confront\u00e9s les \u00e9tudiants en transition vers l'universit\u00e9, en particulier dans les domaines des STIM.<\/p>\n<p>La premi\u00e8re table ronde s'est concentr\u00e9e sur l'environnement politique actuel du Zimbabwe, soulignant \u00e0 la fois les d\u00e9fis et les opportunit\u00e9s li\u00e9s \u00e0 la mise en \u0153uvre de programmes de transition ax\u00e9s sur les STIM au sein des universit\u00e9s publiques. Elle a \u00e9t\u00e9 suivie d'une deuxi\u00e8me table ronde au cours de laquelle des repr\u00e9sentants d'une universit\u00e9 ougandaise ont fait part de leur exp\u00e9rience dans la mise en \u0153uvre de programmes similaires. Leurs r\u00e9flexions ont permis de formuler des recommandations pratiques et r\u00e9gionales que le Zimbabwe peut adapter \u00e0 son contexte unique.<\/p>\n<p>Ce dialogue opportun et inclusif s'inscrit dans le cadre d'un engagement plus large visant \u00e0 garantir qu'aucune jeune femme ou jeune homme ne soit laiss\u00e9(e) pour compte dans la poursuite de l'enseignement sup\u00e9rieur. En faisant entendre des voix locales et r\u00e9gionales, la r\u00e9union a marqu\u00e9 une \u00e9tape cruciale dans l'\u00e9laboration de solutions \u00e9volutives et transformatrices pour l'avenir.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Le FAWEZI s'engage aupr\u00e8s du Minist\u00e8re de l'Education sur l'apprentissage \u00e0 la base et le d\u00e9veloppement des enseignants<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Le FAWEZI, en partenariat avec le FAWE, a rencontr\u00e9 le Ministre de l'\u00e9ducation primaire et secondaire du Zimbabwe, Dr. Torerayi Moyo, afin de discuter des principaux domaines de collaboration dans le secteur de l'\u00e9ducation. L'engagement s'est concentr\u00e9 sur le renforcement de l'apprentissage au niveau local, l'am\u00e9lioration du financement de l'\u00e9ducation et le d\u00e9veloppement professionnel continu des enseignants.<\/p>\n<p>Le Dr. Moyo a f\u00e9licit\u00e9 le FAWEZI pour son engagement de longue date dans la formation d'\u00e9ducateurs utilisant des approches transformatrices. Il a soulign\u00e9 l'importance de telles initiatives pour donner vie \u00e0 la devise du FAWE, \u201cL'\u00e9ducation pour le changement\u201d. Le Ministre a \u00e9galement reconnu le d\u00e9fi permanent auquel sont confront\u00e9s de nombreux enseignants pour acc\u00e9der \u00e0 une formation compl\u00e9mentaire apr\u00e8s leur qualification initiale, reconnaissant les efforts du FAWEZI pour combler ce foss\u00e9.<\/p>\n<p>Cette r\u00e9union a non seulement r\u00e9affirm\u00e9 le r\u00f4le du FAWE dans la formation des enseignants au Zimbabwe, mais elle a \u00e9galement soulign\u00e9 l'engagement du minist\u00e8re en faveur de partenariats qui am\u00e9liorent le syst\u00e8me \u00e9ducatif \u00e0 partir de la base.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Le FAWE et l'UNICEF Zimbabwe r\u00e9affirment leur engagement commun en faveur de l'\u00e9ducation des filles<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Le FAWEZI et le FAWE ont effectu\u00e9 une visite de travail \u00e0 l'UNICEF Zimbabwe afin de renforcer leur collaboration en cours pour faire avancer l'\u00e9ducation sensible au genre. La r\u00e9union s'est concentr\u00e9e sur des domaines prioritaires communs, notamment l'augmentation de la participation des filles aux STEM et l'exploitation des mod\u00e8les test\u00e9s par le FAWE pour soutenir les apprenants dans un monde en \u00e9volution rapide.<\/p>\n<p>Les deux organisations ont r\u00e9affirm\u00e9 leur engagement \u00e0 travailler \u00e9troitement \u00e0 la promotion d'une \u00e9ducation inclusive et de qualit\u00e9 pour les filles. En unissant leurs efforts, le FAWE et l'UNICEF continuent de d\u00e9fendre des solutions qui permettent \u00e0 la prochaine g\u00e9n\u00e9ration de femmes dirigeantes et d'acteurs du changement de se prendre en charge au Zimbabwe et dans toute l'Afrique.<\/p>\n<p>Cette visite marque un approfondissement du partenariat strat\u00e9gique entre le FAWE et l'UNICEF et refl\u00e8te une vision commune de l'\u00e9ducation transformatrice qui ne laisse aucune fille de c\u00f4t\u00e9.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Le FAWEZI engage le FCDO Zimbabwe pour promouvoir l'\u00e9ducation inclusive<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Lors d'une visite de courtoisie au Foreign, Commonwealth &amp; Development Office (FCDO) au Zimbabwe, le FAWEZI et le FAWE ont rencontr\u00e9 Caitlin Spence, conseill\u00e8re en d\u00e9veloppement social, afin de pr\u00e9senter leurs efforts conjoints pour faire progresser l'\u00e9ducation des femmes et des filles \u00e0 travers l'Afrique.<\/p>\n<p>La r\u00e9union a permis de pr\u00e9senter l'impact du FAWE et d'explorer les domaines de collaboration future.
