L'\u00e9v\u00e9nement continental, organis\u00e9 conjointement par la Commission de l'Union africaine et le R\u00e9seau africain de la petite enfance (AfECN), s'est d\u00e9roul\u00e9 sous le th\u00e8me <em>\u201cConstruire des partenariats pour acc\u00e9l\u00e9rer l'action vers des services de garde d'enfants de qualit\u00e9 et inclusifs en Afrique\u201d.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Le FAWE \u00e9tait repr\u00e9sent\u00e9 par Emily Gumba, Charg\u00e9e de programme principale au Secr\u00e9tariat r\u00e9gional, qui a particip\u00e9 \u00e0 une table ronde sur l'intersection de l'\u00e9ducation et de la garde d'enfants. Emily a fait part de l'exp\u00e9rience du FAWE en mati\u00e8re de soutien aux jeunes m\u00e8res gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 son mod\u00e8le innovant de Club des m\u00e8res, qui fonctionne dans plusieurs pays africains.<\/p>\n<p>Les clubs de m\u00e8res offrent aux m\u00e8res adolescentes des espaces s\u00fbrs et scolaires o\u00f9 elles peuvent poursuivre leurs \u00e9tudes tout en b\u00e9n\u00e9ficiant d'un soutien psychosocial, d'une formation \u00e0 la parentalit\u00e9 et d'un apprentissage de la vie.<\/p>\n<p>Le mod\u00e8le est de plus en plus adopt\u00e9 dans les politiques nationales, y compris les directives de r\u00e9int\u00e9gration scolaire du Kenya et les strat\u00e9gies plus larges de protection de l'enfance au Malawi et en Gambie. La contribution du FAWE \u00e0 la Coalition pour de bonnes \u00e9coles refl\u00e8te son engagement \u00e0 mettre fin \u00e0 la violence \u00e0 l'\u00e9cole et \u00e0 promouvoir le bien-\u00eatre des enfants.<\/p>\n<p>La conf\u00e9rence a soulign\u00e9 l'importance d'int\u00e9grer l'\u00e9ducation et la prise en charge des enfants afin de s'assurer qu'aucune fille ni aucun enfant ne soit laiss\u00e9 pour compte.
