Dans dix \u00e9coles secondaires de la commune, 300 \u00e9coli\u00e8res apprennent une comp\u00e9tence qui va bien au-del\u00e0 de la couture - elles apprennent \u00e0 retrouver leur dignit\u00e9.<\/p>\n<p>Un point \u00e0 la fois, ces filles apprennent \u00e0 fabriquer des serviettes hygi\u00e9niques r\u00e9utilisables. Cela peut para\u00eetre simple. Mais c'est r\u00e9volutionnaire.<\/p>\n<p>Ils apprennent \u00e0 le faire :<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Dessiner et tracer les motifs d'un tampon,<\/li>\n<li>Coudre \u00e0 la main avec pr\u00e9cision et soin,<\/li>\n<li>Coupez, superposez et assemblez des tissus pour en faire quelque chose qui change la vie.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Parce que pour de nombreuses filles, la gestion des menstruations n'est pas seulement une pr\u00e9occupation mensuelle - c'est un obstacle. Une raison de s\u00e9cher l'\u00e9cole. Une source de silence, de honte ou d'occasions manqu\u00e9es. Cette formation leur apporte plus qu'une solution. Elle leur donne des moyens d'action.<\/p>\n<p>Mais ce qui rend cette initiative encore plus inspirante, c'est l'effet d'entra\u00eenement. Ces 300 filles ne sont pas seulement des b\u00e9n\u00e9ficiaires, elles deviennent des \u00e9ducatrices pour leurs pairs, transmettent les connaissances \u00e0 leurs camarades de classe, cr\u00e9ent une culture de la solidarit\u00e9 et veillent \u00e0 ce qu'aucune fille ne soit laiss\u00e9e pour compte \u00e0 cause de ses r\u00e8gles.<\/p>\n<p>C'est \u00e0 cela que ressemble l'autonomisation : ne pas attendre que le monde change, mais doter les filles des outils - litt\u00e9raux et m\u00e9taphoriques - pour le changer elles-m\u00eames.<\/p>\n<p>Au FAWE-B\u00e9nin, nous pensons que la sant\u00e9 menstruelle n'est pas un luxe, mais un droit.
