Conduit par le professeur Esi Sutherland-Addy, le groupe comprenait des membres ex\u00e9cutifs du FAWE RS\/WASRO bas\u00e9 au S\u00e9n\u00e9gal et du FAWE Ghana. Ils l'ont f\u00e9licit\u00e9e pour sa r\u00e9cente \u00e9lection et lui ont fait part de leurs meilleurs v\u0153ux pour son mandat.<\/p>\n<p>Opoku-Agyemang a exprim\u00e9 sa gratitude pour le soutien ind\u00e9fectible du FAWE au cours de sa campagne, soulignant l'importance de la collaboration dans la promotion de l'\u00e9ducation des filles \u00e0 travers l'Afrique. Nous vous renommons \u2018Mama Africa\u2019, et votre Afrique sera un lieu s\u00fbr et \u00e9panouissant pour tous, o\u00f9 vous direz \u2018Bienvenue \u00e0 tous\u2019\u201d.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><strong>Contr\u00f4le\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Alors que les jours se rapprochent du lancement tr\u00e8s attendu du Plan strat\u00e9gique 2024-2028 du FAWE Ghana et du Programme de la phase II de la Fondation FAWE\/Mastercard, le FAWE a r\u00e9cemment men\u00e9 une mission compl\u00e8te de suivi et d'\u00e9valuation au Ghana. La d\u00e9l\u00e9gation, compos\u00e9e d'\u00e9quipes charg\u00e9es des programmes, des finances et de la gestion des connaissances, a travaill\u00e9 en \u00e9troite collaboration avec le FAWE Ghana afin d'assurer la mise en \u0153uvre r\u00e9ussie des initiatives en cours et de pr\u00e9parer les prochains lancements pr\u00e9vus pour le 17 avril 2024.<\/p>\n<p>La mission a \u00e9t\u00e9 marqu\u00e9e par des sessions parall\u00e8les avec les \u00e9quipes charg\u00e9es des programmes et des finances, suivies d'un d\u00e9briefing d\u00e9taill\u00e9 avec l'ensemble de l'\u00e9quipe du FAWE Ghana. Les discussions et les \u00e9valuations ont \u00e9t\u00e9 ax\u00e9es sur la r\u00e9solution des probl\u00e8mes, l'affinement des strat\u00e9gies et la garantie de l'alignement sur les objectifs de l'organisation. Vous trouverez ci-dessous les principaux points et r\u00e9sultats de la mission :<\/p>\n<p><strong>Examen de la feuille de route de l'ann\u00e9e 1 et ajustements strat\u00e9giques<\/strong><br \/>\nLa d\u00e9l\u00e9gation a examin\u00e9 la feuille de route de l'ann\u00e9e 1 du programme FAWE\/Mastercard Foundation Phase II et a not\u00e9 certains retards dans la mise en \u0153uvre. Pour y rem\u00e9dier, une feuille de route r\u00e9vis\u00e9e a \u00e9t\u00e9 \u00e9labor\u00e9e, incorporant les activit\u00e9s report\u00e9es de l'ann\u00e9e 1 et soulignant les actions urgentes pour l'ann\u00e9e 2 sur la base du plan de travail approuv\u00e9. Ce recalibrage garantit que le programme reste sur la bonne voie pour atteindre ses objectifs tout en conservant la flexibilit\u00e9 n\u00e9cessaire pour s'adapter \u00e0 des d\u00e9fis impr\u00e9vus.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Analyse de la s\u00e9lection des participants<\/strong><br \/>\nLa mission s'est \u00e9galement pench\u00e9e sur le processus de s\u00e9lection des participants au programme. Le comit\u00e9 national a s\u00e9lectionn\u00e9 223 participants, d\u00e9passant ainsi l'objectif initial de 200. Bien que cela d\u00e9montre la forte demande pour le programme, cela a \u00e9galement soulev\u00e9 des questions sur l'allocation des ressources et la couverture des 23 participants suppl\u00e9mentaires. Des strat\u00e9gies ont \u00e9t\u00e9 propos\u00e9es et discut\u00e9es pour r\u00e9soudre ce probl\u00e8me, notamment<br \/>\n- Veiller \u00e0 ce que l'annonce officielle des derniers participants recrut\u00e9s pour la premi\u00e8re cohorte soit faite sans retard suppl\u00e9mentaire.<br \/>\n- Explorer des solutions pour couvrir les co\u00fbts des participants suppl\u00e9mentaires.<br \/>\n- La planification du deuxi\u00e8me cycle de recrutement commencera au d\u00e9but de cette ann\u00e9e, avec des processus am\u00e9lior\u00e9s pour \u00e9viter les doubles emplois et garantir l'inclusion.<\/p>\n<p>Pour am\u00e9liorer le processus de recrutement, l'\u00e9quipe a convenu de.. :<br \/>\n- Inclure des d\u00e9finitions claires des concepts sp\u00e9cifiques dans l'appel \u00e0 candidatures.<br \/>\n- Sensibiliser aux niveaux r\u00e9gional et national pour atteindre les groupes marginalis\u00e9s, y compris les r\u00e9fugi\u00e9s.<br \/>\n- Collaborer tr\u00e8s t\u00f4t avec les organisations qui travaillent directement avec les r\u00e9fugi\u00e9s afin de s'assurer qu'elles seront incluses dans le prochain cycle de recrutement.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Pr\u00e9paration des lancements \u00e0 venir<\/strong><br \/>\nLa d\u00e9l\u00e9gation a \u00e9valu\u00e9 les pr\u00e9paratifs en vue du lancement, le 17 avril, du Plan strat\u00e9gique 2024-2028 du FAWE Ghana et du Programme de la phase II de la Fondation FAWE\/Mastercard. L'\u00e9quipe reste d\u00e9termin\u00e9e \u00e0 assurer un lancement r\u00e9ussi et impactant qui donnera le ton \u00e0 la prochaine phase du travail du FAWE au Ghana.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Renforcer les partenariats par des visites institutionnelles<\/strong><br \/>\nLa mission a \u00e9galement soulign\u00e9 l'importance de renforcer les partenariats avec les principales parties prenantes. La d\u00e9l\u00e9gation a sugg\u00e9r\u00e9 de programmer des visites institutionnelles pour assurer le suivi de la signature de protocoles d'accord avec le minist\u00e8re de l'\u00e9ducation. En outre, elle a propos\u00e9 d'\u00e9tudier la possibilit\u00e9 de signer des protocoles d'accord similaires avec d'autres minist\u00e8res concern\u00e9s, tels que ceux du genre, du travail, de la jeunesse et du d\u00e9veloppement, et de l'industrie. Ces partenariats renforceront la collaboration et garantiront une approche holistique de la promotion de l'\u00e9ducation et de l'autonomisation des filles au Ghana.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Une voie de collaboration pour aller de l'avant<\/strong><br \/>\nLa mission de suivi et d'\u00e9valuation a soulign\u00e9 l'importance de la collaboration, de l'adaptabilit\u00e9 et de la planification strat\u00e9gique dans la r\u00e9alisation de la mission du FAWE. En abordant les d\u00e9fis de front et en proposant des solutions innovantes, l'\u00e9quipe du FAWE RS\/Afrique de l'Ouest et du Centre a d\u00e9montr\u00e9 son engagement \u00e0 soutenir le FAWE Ghana dans l'ex\u00e9cution de programmes \u00e0 impact qui transforment la vie des filles et des femmes.<\/p>\n<p>Alors que le lancement du 17 avril approche, le FAWE Ghana et l'\u00e9quipe r\u00e9gionale travaillent sans rel\u00e2che pour s'assurer que tous les d\u00e9tails sont en place. Ce lancement marque une \u00e9tape importante dans le parcours du FAWE visant \u00e0 autonomiser les filles par le biais de l'\u00e9ducation et \u00e0 cr\u00e9er un avenir plus \u00e9quitable pour tous.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Visite de terrain \u00e0 l'Universit\u00e9 technique de Takoradi<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Le lendemain, la d\u00e9l\u00e9gation a effectu\u00e9 une visite de terrain \u00e0 l'universit\u00e9 technique de Takoradi. Les objectifs de cette visite \u00e9taient les suivants<br \/>\n* Les participants sont invit\u00e9s \u00e0 effectuer une visite de courtoisie et \u00e0 discuter du programme, du partenariat et des responsabilit\u00e9s \u00e0 l'\u00e9gard des participants.<br \/>\n* Discuter des politiques de sauvegarde du FAWE et de la Mastercard Foundation.<br \/>\n* Visiter les lieux d'h\u00e9bergement et \u00e9valuer leur inclusivit\u00e9 pour les filles et les personnes \u00e0 mobilit\u00e9 r\u00e9duite.<\/p>\n<p>Il a \u00e9t\u00e9 not\u00e9 que les structures de l'universit\u00e9, y compris les salles de classe, les logements et les cliniques, r\u00e9pondent aux besoins d'int\u00e9gration des personnes handicap\u00e9es, avec des rampes d'acc\u00e8s, des ascenseurs et des interpr\u00e8tes pour les \u00e9tudiants sourds. L'universit\u00e9 dispose \u00e9galement d'un d\u00e9partement de l'\u00e9galit\u00e9 des sexes et d'un d\u00e9partement du handicap qui veillent au confort des \u00e9tudiants. En outre, l'\u00e9tablissement a deux partenaires pour le financement de l'entrepreneuriat apr\u00e8s les \u00e9tudes.<\/p>\n<p>Bien que les politiques de sauvegarde soient en place et que le personnel ait \u00e9t\u00e9 form\u00e9, il est n\u00e9cessaire d'am\u00e9liorer la communication sur les proc\u00e9dures de plaintes anonymes.
