Addis Abeba, Ethiopie - Une d\u00e9l\u00e9gation du Forum des \u00e9ducatrices africaines (FAWE RS), conduite par la Directrice ex\u00e9cutive Dr. Martha Muhwezi, a r\u00e9cemment tenu une r\u00e9union de haut niveau avec le D\u00e9partement de l'\u00e9ducation, de la science, de la technologie et de l'innovation (ESTI) de l'Union africaine. La r\u00e9union a eu lieu au si\u00e8ge de l'Union africaine \u00e0 Addis-Abeba, en pr\u00e9sence du professeur Sa\u00efdou Madougou, directeur du d\u00e9partement ESTI, et de Mme Sophia Ashipala, chef du d\u00e9partement.<\/p>\n

Les discussions ont port\u00e9 sur le renforcement de la collaboration entre le FAWE et le D\u00e9partement ESTI, en particulier pour faire avancer le programme de la phase II de la Fondation FAWE\/Mastercard. Les points cl\u00e9s de la r\u00e9union sont les suivants :<\/p>\n

Participation au Comit\u00e9 consultatif : Le FAWE a officiellement demand\u00e9 au d\u00e9partement ESTI, repr\u00e9sent\u00e9 par le commissaire, de rejoindre le comit\u00e9 consultatif pour la phase II du programme FAWE\/Fondation Mastercard.<\/p>\n

R\u00f4le d'ambassadeur : Le FAWE a \u00e9galement sollicit\u00e9 le soutien du D\u00e9partement ESTI pour promouvoir la mise en \u0153uvre du programme dans les 10 pays participants.<\/p>\n

Points d'action convenus<\/strong>
\nLa r\u00e9union a d\u00e9bouch\u00e9 sur plusieurs r\u00e9sultats concrets visant \u00e0 encourager les efforts conjoints en mati\u00e8re d'\u00e9ducation et d'\u00e9galit\u00e9 entre les hommes et les femmes sur l'ensemble du continent :<\/p>\n

  1. Promotion d'une strat\u00e9gie continentale en mati\u00e8re d'EFTP : Les deux parties ont convenu de collaborer \u00e0 la promotion de la mise en \u0153uvre de la strat\u00e9gie continentale en mati\u00e8re d'enseignement et de formation techniques et professionnels (EFTP), ainsi que du programme de la phase II de la Fondation Mastercard.<\/li>\n
  2. Strat\u00e9gie continentale d'\u00e9ducation pour l'Afrique (CESA) : Le FAWE et le D\u00e9partement ESTI travailleront ensemble sur la mise en \u0153uvre conjointe de la CESA apr\u00e8s 2025. Cela inclut un examen de la strat\u00e9gie d'\u00e9galit\u00e9 des sexes pour s'assurer qu'elle s'aligne sur le nouveau cadre de la CESA.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Cette r\u00e9union marque une \u00e9tape importante dans la mission du FAWE visant \u00e0 faire progresser l'\u00e9galit\u00e9 des sexes dans l'\u00e9ducation \u00e0 travers l'Afrique.
