brillante carri\u00e8re en obtenant un doctorat en \u00e9tudes africaines sur le genre \u00e0 l'Universit\u00e9 de Nairobi. Cette r\u00e9ussite acad\u00e9mique renforce son expertise en mati\u00e8re de politique \u00e9ducative et de plaidoyer sur le genre, consolidant ainsi son r\u00f4le de leader dans l'\u00e9laboration de politiques qui soutiennent l'\u00e9ducation des filles \u00e0 travers l'Afrique.<\/p><p>Forte d'une formation en \u00e9ducation et d'une exp\u00e9rience de plusieurs d\u00e9cennies en mati\u00e8re de r\u00e9forme politique, le Dr Martha Muhwezi a jou\u00e9 un r\u00f4le de premier plan dans les efforts visant \u00e0 rem\u00e9dier aux disparit\u00e9s entre les sexes dans le domaine de l'\u00e9ducation. Son leadership au FAWE s'\u00e9tend sur 33 pays, o\u00f9 elle travaille avec les gouvernements, les partenaires de d\u00e9veloppement et les organisations de la soci\u00e9t\u00e9 civile pour plaider en faveur de politiques qui maintiennent les filles \u00e0 l'\u00e9cole, y compris la r\u00e9int\u00e9gration des m\u00e8res adolescentes, la lutte contre la violence sexiste li\u00e9e \u00e0 l'\u00e9cole et l'am\u00e9lioration de l'acc\u00e8s des filles \u00e0 l'enseignement des STEM.<\/p><p>Sa recherche doctorale sur les \u00e9tudes de genre fournit une base analytique plus profonde pour relever ces d\u00e9fis. Ce domaine examine l'intersection des structures sociales, de la dynamique du pouvoir et des in\u00e9galit\u00e9s syst\u00e9miques - des questions cl\u00e9s qui influencent directement la politique de l'\u00e9ducation.
