Il ne s'agissait pas seulement de s\u00e9lectionner des candidats dans les quatre r\u00e9gions, mais aussi de pr\u00e9server l'avenir de ceux qui b\u00e9n\u00e9ficieraient de ces opportunit\u00e9s.<\/p>\n<p>Depuis 10 ans, le FAWE Ouganda met en \u0153uvre le Programme de bourses d'\u00e9tudes en partenariat avec le FAWERS et la Fondation Mastercard. Le FAWE Ouganda est en train de mettre en \u0153uvre le programme HEAC et TVET en phase II, apr\u00e8s un lancement r\u00e9ussi en avril 2024. Il a lanc\u00e9 un appel \u00e0 candidatures en juillet et est en train de recruter la premi\u00e8re cohorte.<\/p>\n<p>Le personnel du Secr\u00e9tariat r\u00e9gional du FAWE a proc\u00e9d\u00e9 \u00e0 l'observation de la s\u00e9lection post-bourse pour la premi\u00e8re cohorte du programme Mastercard Foundation Phase II en Ouganda du 5 au 8 ao\u00fbt 2024. Cet exercice visait \u00e0 s'assurer que la pr\u00e9s\u00e9lection, l'entretien et les visites \u00e0 domicile pour les 500 candidats (300 pour HEAC et 200 pour TVET) ont respect\u00e9 les crit\u00e8res \u00e9tablis, l'assurance qualit\u00e9 et la promotion de la culture de la responsabilit\u00e9 et de la transparence.<\/p>\n<p>L'\u00e9quipe du FAWE Ouganda a accompagn\u00e9 l'\u00e9quipe du RS tout au long du processus d'annonce, de s\u00e9lection, d'entretien et de visites \u00e0 domicile. Voici quelques observations faites lors de la visite.<\/p><\/div>\n<ul>\n<li>L'appel \u00e0 candidatures devrait \u00eatre lanc\u00e9 entre 2 semaines et 1 mois.<\/li>\n<li>Les filles ne s'inscrivent pas aux cours de STIM dans l'enseignement sup\u00e9rieur ; c'est l'occasion de commencer \u00e0 les mobiliser d\u00e8s l'\u00e9cole secondaire.<\/li>\n<li>Le niveau d'engagement des parties prenantes \u00e9tait \u00e9lev\u00e9 et il faudrait faire beaucoup plus en mati\u00e8re d'engagement communautaire avec les parents, les enseignants et les chefs religieux pour qu'ils deviennent des ambassadeurs.<\/li>\n<li>Il y a beaucoup de cas n\u00e9cessiteux, mais ils ne r\u00e9pondent pas aux crit\u00e8res fix\u00e9s.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<div>\u00c0 la fin des exercices, les \u00e9tapes cl\u00e9s suivantes ont \u00e9t\u00e9 franchies<br \/>\nIdentification et \u00e9valuation de 25 \u00e9tablissements d'enseignement partenaires potentiels, s\u00e9lectionnant 8 universit\u00e9s et 8 \u00e9tablissements d'enseignement et de formation techniques et professionnels :<\/div>\n<ul>\n<li>4 6618 candidatures ont \u00e9t\u00e9 re\u00e7ues, soit 2057 candidatures f\u00e9minines et 2561 candidatures masculines.<\/li>\n<li>459 participants, soit 293 femmes et 166 hommes, ont \u00e9t\u00e9 recrut\u00e9s \u00e0 ce jour pour les programmes HEAC (259) et 200 (TVET).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<div>\u201cLe voyage \u00e0 travers l'observation de la s\u00e9lection ougandaise n'a pas seulement \u00e9t\u00e9 une t\u00e2che accomplie, mais un rappel puissant de l'importance de l'\u00e9quit\u00e9 et de la transparence. Alors que nous allons de l'avant, continuons \u00e0 d\u00e9fendre ces valeurs, en veillant \u00e0 ce que chaque individu, o\u00f9 qu'il se trouve, ait une chance \u00e9quitable de r\u00e9ussir\u201d.
