La bourse du FAWE Ouganda a marqu\u00e9 le d\u00e9but d'une transformation dans ma vie. Gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 cet appel, j'ai appris que j'avais obtenu la bourse MasterCard du FAWEU pour poursuivre une licence en sciences agricoles \u00e0 l'universit\u00e9 de Busitema et que je devais me pr\u00e9senter \u00e0 l'universit\u00e9 de Mbarara.<\/p>\n

Je n'arrivais pas \u00e0 croire que j'allais entrer \u00e0 l'universit\u00e9. Je n'arrivais pas \u00e0 croire que j'allais entrer \u00e0 l'universit\u00e9 et ma m\u00e8re \u00e9tait tr\u00e8s nerveuse \u00e0 l'id\u00e9e que je sois son premier enfant \u00e0 entrer \u00e0 l'universit\u00e9.<\/p>\n

Pendant que j'\u00e9tais sur le campus, le FAWE Ouganda payait tous mes frais de scolarit\u00e9, finan\u00e7ait mes projets d'entreprise universitaires, me rendait visite chaque semestre et me donnait \u00e9galement une allocation qui m'incitait \u00e0 me concentrer et \u00e0 travailler dur sur le plan acad\u00e9mique. J'ai r\u00e9fl\u00e9chi \u00e0 ce que je pourrais faire en dehors des cours pour multiplier mon allocation et j'ai opt\u00e9 pour un commerce d'argent mobile et de biscuits. J'ai eu de la chance et mon entreprise a bien march\u00e9, mais je n'ai pas oubli\u00e9 pourquoi j'\u00e9tais all\u00e9e \u00e0 l'\u00e9cole. L'entreprise m'a permis de payer les frais de scolarit\u00e9 de certains de mes fr\u00e8res et s\u0153urs qui sont actuellement en troisi\u00e8me ann\u00e9e et m'a \u00e9galement occup\u00e9e pendant la pand\u00e9mie, lorsqu'il n'y avait pas d'\u00e9cole. J'ai \u00e9galement lanc\u00e9 un projet de culture de bananes et de porcherie dans le village pendant la pand\u00e9mie, ce qui m'a permis d'augmenter mes revenus et d'acqu\u00e9rir de l'exp\u00e9rience dans mon domaine d'\u00e9tudes.<\/p>\n

Au cours de ma quatri\u00e8me ann\u00e9e d'\u00e9tudes, j'ai eu l'occasion de mener des recherches sur la qualit\u00e9 des semences en collaboration avec l'Institut national de recherche sur l'agriculture et les zones semi-arides, et je dois publier un article avant la fin de l'ann\u00e9e 2023.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
