Cependant, les disparit\u00e9s entre les sexes en mati\u00e8re d'\u00e9ducation persistent, en particulier dans les pays en d\u00e9veloppement o\u00f9 les filles sont souvent confront\u00e9es \u00e0 des obstacles qui limitent leur participation \u00e0 l'\u00e9cole. En Afrique, o\u00f9 l'in\u00e9galit\u00e9 entre les sexes est tr\u00e8s r\u00e9pandue, l'\u00e9ducation des filles est essentielle pour parvenir \u00e0 un d\u00e9veloppement durable et mettre fin \u00e0 la pauvret\u00e9. Le Forum des \u00e9ducatrices africaines (FAWE) a mis en \u0153uvre plusieurs mod\u00e8les qui ont permis d'am\u00e9liorer consid\u00e9rablement l'\u00e9ducation des filles en Afrique. Ces mod\u00e8les comprennent Tuseme, la p\u00e9dagogie sensible au genre (GRP) et les centres d'excellence (CoE). Ces mod\u00e8les ont \u00e9t\u00e9 con\u00e7us pour relever les d\u00e9fis qui limitent la participation des filles \u00e0 l'\u00e9cole et pour transformer les \u00e9coles ordinaires en \u00e9coles sensibles au genre qui retiennent et encouragent l'apprentissage chez les filles.<\/p>\n<p>L'une des interventions r\u00e9ussies mises en \u0153uvre en Afrique est Tuseme, un mot swahili qui signifie \u201cPrenons la parole\u201d. Il s'agit d'un programme men\u00e9 par des \u00e9tudiants qui vise \u00e0 donner aux filles et aux gar\u00e7ons les moyens de s'exprimer contre la violence sexiste et d'autres probl\u00e8mes affectant leur \u00e9ducation et leur vie. Le programme encourage les \u00e9l\u00e8ves \u00e0 participer \u00e0 des discussions de groupe et \u00e0 des d\u00e9bats sur les questions de genre, contribuant ainsi \u00e0 sensibiliser et \u00e0 changer les attitudes \u00e0 l'\u00e9gard de l'\u00e9galit\u00e9 entre les hommes et les femmes. Les enseignants sont form\u00e9s \u00e0 l'identification et \u00e0 la r\u00e9solution de ces probl\u00e8mes, et les filles sont encourag\u00e9es \u00e0 jouer un r\u00f4le de premier plan dans la r\u00e9solution des probl\u00e8mes auxquels elles sont confront\u00e9es.<\/p>\n<p>La p\u00e9dagogie sensible au genre est une autre intervention efficace qui vise \u00e0 transformer les pratiques d'enseignement et d'apprentissage dans les \u00e9coles. Cette intervention vise \u00e0 garantir que le programme scolaire, les m\u00e9thodes d'enseignement et l'environnement de la classe tiennent compte des sp\u00e9cificit\u00e9s de chaque sexe et sont inclusifs. Les enseignants sont form\u00e9s pour reconna\u00eetre et r\u00e9pondre aux diff\u00e9rents besoins d'apprentissage des filles et des gar\u00e7ons, cr\u00e9ant ainsi un environnement favorable \u00e0 la participation et \u00e0 la r\u00e9ussite des filles \u00e0 l'\u00e9cole.<br \/>\nLes centres d'excellence sont une intervention qui vise \u00e0 am\u00e9liorer la qualit\u00e9 de l'\u00e9ducation dans les \u00e9coles en promouvant l'innovation et les meilleures pratiques. Il s'agit de cr\u00e9er des centres d'excellence dans les \u00e9coles o\u00f9 les enseignants peuvent recevoir une formation et un soutien pour am\u00e9liorer leurs pratiques d'enseignement. Les centres d'excellence servent \u00e9galement de centres de ressources pour l'ensemble de la communaut\u00e9, favorisant le partage des connaissances et la collaboration.<\/p>\n<p>Les succ\u00e8s obtenus en RDC, au Burundi et au Rwanda apr\u00e8s la formation des enseignants, des chefs d'\u00e9tablissement, des \u00e9l\u00e8ves et d'autres parties prenantes d\u00e9montrent que ces interventions peuvent transformer positivement le genre dans le paysage \u00e9ducatif. Le maintien des filles \u00e0 l'\u00e9cole, la red\u00e9finition des r\u00f4les de genre, la r\u00e9int\u00e9gration des filles enceintes, la r\u00e9duction des violences bas\u00e9es sur le genre (VBG), le renforcement de l'engagement communautaire, la cr\u00e9ation d'un espace s\u00fbr pour que les filles puissent s'exprimer sur les questions qui affectent leur \u00e9ducation et leur vie, et l'am\u00e9lioration des interactions entre enseignants et \u00e9l\u00e8ves sont quelques-unes des r\u00e9alisations notables r\u00e9sultant de ces interventions.<\/p>\n<p>En conclusion, l'\u00e9ducation est un droit fondamental pour tous les individus et le genre ne devrait pas \u00eatre un obstacle \u00e0 l'acc\u00e8s \u00e0 une \u00e9ducation de qualit\u00e9. La mise en \u0153uvre d'interventions d\u00e9monstratives telles que Tuseme, la p\u00e9dagogie sensible au genre et les centres d'excellence sont des indicateurs clairs des riches produits de connaissance qui transforment positivement le genre dans le paysage de l'\u00e9ducation, non seulement en Afrique, mais aussi dans le monde entier.
