En raison des restrictions impos\u00e9es par Covid-19, la conf\u00e9rence, organis\u00e9e tous les trois (3) ans, s'est tenue virtuellement sous le th\u00e8me <strong>\u201cVers des approches efficaces pour l'engagement et l'excellence des filles : Pr\u00e9parer les filles africaines aux comp\u00e9tences du 21\u00e8me si\u00e8cle\u2019<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Les discussions de la conf\u00e9rence \u00e9taient bas\u00e9es sur des th\u00e8mes tels que : Accro\u00eetre la participation des filles dans les STEM ; combler le foss\u00e9 entre l'\u00e9ducation et les comp\u00e9tences du march\u00e9 en proposant des formations adapt\u00e9es au march\u00e9 ; une p\u00e9dagogie des STEM qui tienne compte de la dimension de genre et des politiques \u00e9ducatives pour les STEM. L'objectif principal de la conf\u00e9rence \u00e9tait de fournir une opportunit\u00e9 pour des exp\u00e9riences esth\u00e9tiques et des interventions artistiques afin d'explorer d'autres fa\u00e7ons de penser la pr\u00e9paration des filles africaines aux comp\u00e9tences du 21\u00e8me si\u00e8cle et de renforcer l'adoption des STEM parmi les filles et les femmes.<\/p>\n<p>Les pan\u00e9listes ont men\u00e9 des discussions en partageant leurs exp\u00e9riences dans diff\u00e9rentes parties de l'Afrique, notamment en Afrique de l'Est, de l'Ouest et du Sud, soulignant la n\u00e9cessit\u00e9 croissante d'int\u00e9grer la technologie dans l'\u00e9ducation, comme on l'a constat\u00e9 lors de la pand\u00e9mie en cours. Le point culminant de la conf\u00e9rence a toutefois \u00e9t\u00e9 le lancement de l'initiative de l'Union europ\u00e9enne en mati\u00e8re d'\u00e9ducation. <a href=\"https:\/\/youtu.be\/9n13HpXwN84\">Portail en ligne du FAWE<\/a> ainsi que la <a href=\"https:\/\/drive.google.com\/file\/d\/1HsGoeHvQH_c_pCQ7uUAqEDvQtGP_LXmP\/view?usp=sharing\">Livret STEM<\/a>. En outre, un communiqu\u00e9 a \u00e9t\u00e9 \u00e9labor\u00e9 sur la base des discussions, des points de vue, des pr\u00e9occupations, des engagements et des recommandations exprim\u00e9s lors des s\u00e9ances pl\u00e9ni\u00e8res et des r\u00e9unions en petits groupes de la conf\u00e9rence.<\/p>\n<p>Sarah Agbor, commissaire aux ressources humaines, \u00e0 la science et \u00e0 la technologie de l'Union africaine, Mme Hendrina Doroba Chalwe, directrice de division \u00e0 la Banque africaine de d\u00e9veloppement (BAD), Mme Dana Amro (Dubai Cares), M. Irere Claudette, ministre d'\u00c9tat charg\u00e9 des TIC et de l'EFTP au Rwanda, Mme Claudiana A. Cole, ministre de l'enseignement primaire et secondaire de Gambie, M. Yumiko Yokozeki, directeur de l'Institut international de l'UNESCO pour le renforcement des capacit\u00e9s en Afrique (IIRCA), M. David Moinina, directeur de l'Institut international de l'UNESCO pour le renforcement des capacit\u00e9s en Afrique (IIRCA).
