Cette allocution marquera le coup d'envoi de la r\u00e9union en mettant l'accent sur les questions cl\u00e9s \u00e0 traiter en priorit\u00e9 pour l'\u00e9ducation des filles en Afrique.<\/p>\n<p>La premi\u00e8re Conf\u00e9rence internationale du FAWE sur l'\u00e9ducation des filles en Afrique s'est tenue \u00e0 Lusaka, en Zambie, en 2017. L'\u00e9v\u00e9nement est n\u00e9 de la conviction que depuis plus de deux d\u00e9cennies et demie, le FAWE a apport\u00e9 des contributions et des changements significatifs dans le secteur de l'\u00e9ducation en Afrique, mais que le FAWE ne disposait pas d'une plateforme structur\u00e9e et internationale pour r\u00e9fl\u00e9chir sur son travail ainsi que sur le travail d'autres partenaires partageant les m\u00eames id\u00e9es. L'\u00e9v\u00e9nement a \u00e9t\u00e9 l'occasion de c\u00e9l\u00e9brer les succ\u00e8s du FAWE et de d\u00e9finir des strat\u00e9gies d'intensification des interventions de l'organisation.<\/p>\n<p>Le FAWE a maintenant organis\u00e9 les 2<sup>nd<\/sup> Th\u00e8me de la conf\u00e9rence <strong><em>\u201cVers des approches efficaces pour l'engagement et l'excellence des filles : Pr\u00e9parer les filles africaines aux comp\u00e9tences du 21e si\u00e8cle\u2019. <\/em><\/strong>Cette conf\u00e9rence mettra l'accent sur les interventions du FAWE et d'autres partenaires dans le domaine des sciences, de la technologie, de l'ing\u00e9nierie et des math\u00e9matiques (STEM) pour les filles en Afrique.
