Programme d'acc\u00e8s \u00e0 l'enseignement sup\u00e9rieur en Ouganda (HEAP)\n<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Le programme d'acc\u00e8s \u00e0 l'enseignement sup\u00e9rieur est un programme de huit ans qui vise \u00e0 permettre \u00e0 300 jeunes femmes et hommes des r\u00e9gions \u00e9conomiquement d\u00e9favoris\u00e9es de l'Ouganda d'acc\u00e9der \u00e0 l'\u00e9ducation et au d\u00e9veloppement du leadership, y compris la transition vers l'enseignement sup\u00e9rieur ou l'obtention d'un emploi dans des secteurs qui contribuent au d\u00e9veloppement de leurs communaut\u00e9s et du pays.<\/p>

Le programme est ax\u00e9 sur l'octroi de bourses \u00e0 des \u00e9tudiants brillants et dou\u00e9s de la r\u00e9gion du Nord, notamment Adjumani, Amudat, Amuru, Kaabong et Pader ; des r\u00e9gions de l'Est, notamment Bukwo, Buyende, Katakwi et Mayuge ; et de la r\u00e9gion de l'Ouest, notamment Buliisa, Bundibugyo, Kanungu et Ntoroko.<\/p>

Soutenu par la Fondation Mastercard \u00e0 hauteur de 10,48 millions USD, ce programme de huit ans, qui a d\u00e9but\u00e9 en novembre 2016, est mis en \u0153uvre par le FAWE Ouganda jusqu'en d\u00e9cembre 2023.<\/p>

Ce programme offre 1001 bourses TTP3T aux apprenants et cible 300 \u00e9tudiants \u00e2g\u00e9s de 18 \u00e0 25 ans sur une p\u00e9riode de huit ans. 60% suivront des cours sanctionn\u00e9s par un dipl\u00f4me, tandis que 40% suivront des cours sanctionn\u00e9s par un dipl\u00f4me. Le programme est ax\u00e9 sur les sciences, couvrant les cours d'agriculture, de m\u00e9decine et de sant\u00e9, tandis que les cours li\u00e9s \u00e0 l'\u00e9ducation seront ax\u00e9s sur les sciences et les langues. Le programme est mis en \u0153uvre en partenariat avec cinq \u00e9tablissements d'enseignement sup\u00e9rieur : l'universit\u00e9 des sciences et technologies de Mbarara, l'universit\u00e9 de Gulu et l'universit\u00e9 de Busitema, l'\u00e9cole d'infirmi\u00e8res et de sages-femmes de Jinja et l'\u00e9cole de formation aux techniques de laboratoire m\u00e9dical. Une fois dipl\u00f4m\u00e9s, les \u00e9tudiants sont encourag\u00e9s \u00e0 retourner dans leur communaut\u00e9 pour travailler et am\u00e9liorer la vie des autres en comblant un manque critique de ressources humaines et en contribuant au d\u00e9veloppement \u00e9conomique.<\/p>

Le programme utilise des approches cr\u00e9atives et innovantes telles que le programme d'orientation \u00e9tendu (EOP) pour aider les \u00e9tudiants d\u00e9favoris\u00e9s \u00e0 s'installer, \u00e0 \u00eatre comp\u00e9titifs et \u00e0 terminer leurs \u00e9tudes avec succ\u00e8s. En partenariat avec les trois universit\u00e9s partenaires, le programme s'est \u00e9galement lanc\u00e9 dans le d\u00e9veloppement d'un programme de transition de pr\u00e9-rentr\u00e9e (BP) qui, une fois accr\u00e9dit\u00e9, offrira une seconde chance aux \u00e9tudiants prometteurs dont les qualifications de pr\u00e9-rentr\u00e9e sont l\u00e9g\u00e8rement inf\u00e9rieures au seuil d'admission, et dont le potentiel acad\u00e9mique est limit\u00e9 par les insuffisances physiques, acad\u00e9miques et sociales de leurs \u00e9coles secondaires. Les bonnes pratiques et les le\u00e7ons tir\u00e9es de la mise en \u0153uvre de ces innovations seront document\u00e9es afin d'influencer la politique et d'informer leur adoption au-del\u00e0 du programme et des institutions partenaires en Ouganda.<\/p>
