FAWE Uganda continues to make strides in its mission to promote access to quality education and empower students through innovative initiatives. This week, the organization took a significant step forward by providing laptops and IT training to participants of its Higher Education Access Program. The initiative aims to bridge the digital divide and equip students with the tools and skills they need to succeed in their academic and professional journeys.

A Transformative Visit to Partner Institutions 
FAWE Uganda’s team visited several partner institutions across the country to distribute laptops and conduct IT training sessions. The institutions included:
– Uganda Technical College (UTC) Elgon in Mbale
– UTC Lira in Lira
– Jinja School of Nursing and Midwifery in Jinja
– Jinja Medical Laboratory Training School in Jinja

During these visits, FAWE Uganda engaged with students, understanding their challenges and aspirations while providing them with the resources to enhance their learning experience. The laptops and IT training are expected to play a pivotal role in improving the students’ access to digital resources, research materials, and online learning platforms.
