FAWE Togo hosted a collaborative workshop at the AGORA SENGHOR Centre in Lomé, bringing together members of the Board of Directors, technical staff, alumni, and supporters to focus on implementing the Organizational Capacity Development Action Plan (DCO). This three-day event was a pivotal step in strengthening FAWE Togo’s capacity to achieve its mission of promoting girls’ education and empowerment in Togo and beyond.
A Collaborative Effort for Organizational Growth
The workshop was designed to enhance FAWE Togo’s operational efficiency and strategic impact. Over the three days, participants engaged in intensive sessions aimed at refining key organizational tools and strategies. The agenda was structured as follows:
Day 1: Updating the Administrative Procedures Manual
The first day focused on reviewing and updating FAWE Togo’s administrative procedures. This session ensured that the organization’s internal processes were aligned with best practices, enabling smoother operations and better resource management.
Day 2: Revising the Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability, and Learning (SERA) Manual
On the second day, consultant Mr. Philippe Doega led a brilliant presentation on revising the SERA manual. This session emphasized the importance of robust monitoring and evaluation frameworks to track progress, ensure accountability, and foster continuous learning within the organization.
Day 3: Deepening the Communication Strategy for 2025-2028
The final day was dedicated to refining FAWE Togo’s communication strategy for the next four years. Participants explored innovative ways to amplify the organization’s message, engage stakeholders, and advocate for girls’ education and empowerment across Togo.
A Resounding Success
The workshop concluded with participants expressing their satisfaction and confidence in the outcomes. The collaborative spirit and shared commitment to FAWE Togo’s mission were evident throughout the event. The updated manuals and strategies will serve as critical tools for harmonizing efforts and achieving the organization’s goals.
