Monrovia, Liberia – FAWE Liberia, in collaboration with the Ministries of Education and Youth and Sports, recently celebrated the International Day of Education at the Monrovia Vocational Training Center (MVTC). The event brought together a diverse group of educational stakeholders to reflect on this year’s global theme: “AI and Education: Preserving Human Agency in a World of Automation.”

The celebration highlighted the critical role of education in navigating the challenges and opportunities presented by artificial intelligence and automation. It also emphasized the importance of preserving human agency and ensuring that technological advancements complement, rather than overshadow, the human element in education.
