FAWE Gabon proudly launched the “Sciences, Les Filles Nous Pouvons” program at Lycée Bâ Oumar. This initiative aims to support and guide 120 girls from 10th grade and eighth-grade classes across three schools in the northern educational district of Libreville, encouraging them to pursue scientific studies and careers traditionally dominated by men.
Through dedicated tutoring and mentorship, FAWE Gabon seeks to break gender barriers in STEM fields by providing these young girls with the academic reinforcement needed to thrive in science-related subjects. By fostering a supportive learning environment, the program aspires to boost confidence and inspire future female leaders in science and technology.
This launch marks a significant step towards gender equity in education and professional opportunities. FAWE Gabon remains committed to empowering young girls and ensuring that science is no longer perceived as a male-dominated field. Together, we can create a future where girls confidently take their place in STEM careers.
