The training also engages industry stakeholders, entrepreneurship support organizations, FAWE alumni, and science and technology institutions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This diverse participation reflects a multi-sectoral approach to mentorship\u2014linking education, industry, and innovation to better support students\u2019 academic and career pathways.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The training is designed as an interactive and participatory experience, combining discussions, group work, and collaborative learning. Key focus areas include:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Understanding students\u2019 lived experiences and challenges<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Foundations and principles of effective mentorship<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Communication skills in mentoring relationships<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>These foundational modules aim to equip mentors with practical tools to provide guidance that is responsive, empathetic, and impactful.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Over the course of the training, participants will further explore advanced areas essential to mentorship in TVET settings, including:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Mentorship practice and structured engagement approaches<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Career development and pathways to employment<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Student safety, safeguarding, and well-being<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Monitoring and evaluation of mentorship programmes<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Action planning to strengthen mentorship support systems<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>By integrating these components, FAWE Ethiopia is ensuring that mentorship goes beyond guidance\u2014becoming a structured, results-oriented support mechanism for student success.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This initiative aligns with FAWE Ethiopia\u2019s vision of building an equitable and inclusive society where all girls and women can thrive.
