The Forum for African Women Educationalists Kenya Chapter\u2014FAWE Kenya\u2014continues to play a key role in shaping inclusive education systems through its active participation in national policy and technical platforms.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
On 25th\u201326th March, FAWE Kenya, as a member of the Technical Working Group on Adolescent Health, Teenage Pregnancy Monitoring, and School Re-entry, participated in a high-level meeting held at the Kenya Institute of Special Education in Nairobi.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The meeting was convened by the Ministry of Education Kenya in collaboration with the ZAMARA Foundation and the Nyanza Initiative for Girls\u2019 Education and Empowerment, alongside key partners committed to advancing adolescent health and education outcomes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The convening brought together government representatives, civil society organizations, and development partners to strengthen coordinated responses for learners affected by teenage pregnancy. Discussions focused on creating supportive, inclusive, and responsive education systems that enable learners to return to school, remain engaged, and successfully complete their education.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Participants emphasized that addressing teenage pregnancy and adolescent health requires integrated approaches that combine education, health services, and social support systems.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The meeting resulted in several important outcomes aimed at strengthening national coordination and programme delivery:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
