{"id":70964,"date":"2025-10-14T06:39:17","date_gmt":"2025-10-14T03:39:17","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/fawe.org\/?p=70964"},"modified":"2025-10-14T06:39:17","modified_gmt":"2025-10-14T03:39:17","slug":"new-dawn-new-energy-building-bridges-for-education","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/fawe.org\/en\/new-dawn-new-energy-building-bridges-for-education\/","title":{"rendered":"New Dawn, New Energy: Building Bridges for Education!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>As September drew to a close, FAWE Ghana ushered in renewed momentum toward creating pathways of opportunity for young women and men across the country.<\/p>\n<p>As part of the implementation of the <strong>Bridging Program<\/strong> under the <strong>FAWE\/Mastercard Foundation Phase II Program<\/strong>, the <strong>FAWE Ghana Chapter<\/strong>, led by <strong>Mrs. Marian Tackie<\/strong>, Chairperson of the Board, paid a courtesy visit to <strong>Prof. George Oduro<\/strong>, Technical Advisor to the Minister of Education.<\/p>\n<p>During the meeting, <strong>Mr. Richard Amoani<\/strong>, Executive Director of FAWE Ghana, presented the overarching vision of the Phase II Program and the transformative potential of the Bridging initiative in addressing gaps within Ghana\u2019s education system. He emphasized the program\u2019s aim to create a second-chance pathway for learners\u2014particularly girls\u2014who face barriers to completing their education, and called for the Ministry\u2019s support in ensuring its successful rollout.<\/p>\n<p>In response, <strong>Prof. Oduro<\/strong> commended FAWE Ghana\u2019s efforts and pledged his commitment to advancing the program\u2019s objectives.
