This week, FAWE Africa was proud to sit down with leaders from ASKY Airlines Kenya in a meeting that was more than strategic \u2014 it was deeply symbolic. Represented by Country Manager A. Elom Komedja, Business Development Executive Samson Musyoka, and Sales Support Lead Carolyne Wanjiru, the ASKY team brought with them not just 15 years of pan-African aviation expertise, but a willingness to invest in a more inclusive future.
\nTogether, we imagined what it might look like if girls across Africa saw the cockpit, the control tower, or the engineering lab as their rightful place. Not a dream \u2014 but a path. Not an exception \u2014 but a norm.<\/p>\n
With a presence in 29 destinations and expanding, ASKY is not only connecting Africa by air \u2014 they\u2019re now joining the movement to connect girls to opportunity, particularly in the fields of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM).<\/p>\n
Our conversation touched on real, practical next steps:

\n\u2708\ufe0f Collaborative industry partnerships to support career exposure,
\n\u2708\ufe0f STEM outreach integrated through FAWE\u2019s grassroots networks and school programs.<\/p>\n
But beyond logistics, what resonated was the shared belief that Africa\u2019s future isn\u2019t just in its skies \u2014 it\u2019s in its daughters. The girls who today sit in classrooms with untapped talent and unspoken dreams. The girls who just need a glimpse of what\u2019s possible.<\/p>\n
This partnership is about giving them that glimpse \u2014 and turning it into a runway.
