About Commonwealth Scholarships<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

The Commonwealth Scholarships are for students from developing Commonwealth countries for Master\u2019s (one-year), PhD, and split-site PhD study in the UK. These scholarships are funded by the UK Department for International Development (DFID). The prospectus and selection criteria, along with full details of the scholarships and information on how to apply are available for candidates on the Commission\u2019s website at: https:\/\/cscuk.fcdo.gov.uk\/about-us\/scholarships\/<\/u><\/p>\n

Field(s) of study<\/em><\/strong>:<\/em><\/p>\n

All subject areas are eligible for consideration, although the CSC\u2019s selection criteria give priority to those applications that demonstrate strong relevance to development. CSC\u2019s 6 Thematic areas are i) Science and Technology for Development, ii) Strengthening Health Systems and Capacity, iii) Promoting Global Prosperity, iv) Strengthening Global Peace, Security and Governance, v) Strengthening Resilience and Response to Crises and vi) Access, Inclusion and opportunity.<\/em><\/p>\n

The scholarships are targeted to Developing Commonwealth Countries, but FAWE will concentrate only on the following member countries that are in the FAWE network.<\/p>\n
