In September, FAWE Sierra Leone provided bursaries to over 50 girls under the Beautiful World Scholars (BWC) programme. The girls will be provided with free tuition fees to pursue their studies at the tertiary level.<\/p>\n

Speaking at the event, FAWE Sierra Leone Board Chair stated, \u201cYou must count yourself lucky and blessed for obtaining this scholarship. I urge you all to make very good use of this golden opportunity.\u201d<\/p>\n

The girls also received at the event gifts such as mathematical sets, sanitary pads, bags, shoes, palm oil, and other assorted food items. In addition to this, they also received some pocket money. Martha Lahai, a beneficiary of the scholarship programme said, \u201cIf it wasn\u2019t for FAWE, I wouldn\u2019t be in university because it was them that paid my school fees and took care of me up to this point. They have supported me all through so I really feel good.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n
