FK Norway Partners midterm review meeting
15 - 17 February 2017
The FAWE-FK Norway exchange programme entered its second year in August 2016 and as such, a review meeting between the two partners is set to take place from 15—17 February 2017, at FAWE Regional Secretariat , FAWE House, Nairobi. The purpose of the midterm review meeting is to review the progress made during the initial phases of the programme.
The partnership between FAWE and the Norwegian philanthropic agency FK Norway was established in 2015 in a bid to enable FAWE advance gender equality in education in Africa through enhanced individual competences and improved institutional capacity. Through the exchange programme dubbed “Shared learning for Gender Equality in Education”, four FAWE National Chapters (Zambia, Uganda, Malawi, Kenya, and Tanzania) send and receive volunteers and staff within the four countries and they are in turn expected to share their skills and competences in specific areas of need and acquire and transfer new knowledge and skills upon their return to their home chapters. The programme runs until August 2018.
