Prof. Rosalie Kama-Niamayoua is currently Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Congo to the Republic of Cuba since April 2017. She is a former Minister for Primary and Secondary Education of Congo in charge of literacy, having been appointed in 2010.
Prof. Kama-Niamayoua started her career in 1980 as a teacher-researcher at the Marien N’Gouabi University where she trained and conducted research in chemistry. She is former Chair of Association for the Development of Education in Africa (ADEA) Bureau of Ministers and is chair of the Congo Chapter of FAWE.
Prof. Kama-Niamayoua holds a Masters and PhD in Chemistry from the Université des Sciences et Techniques in Lille, France. She also has a Masters in didactics of scientific disciplines from Claude Bernard University, Lyon.
